You're meant to farm Nightmare Baal/Diablo on /players 8 before stepping foot into Hell difficulty

Once you reach level 75+ and have good gear for Act 1 you jump right into Hell and farm Andariel until you replace all of your NM gear

Farming Mephisto without Enigma is a waste of time and exceedingly dangerous thanks to those little bone shits, just farm Diablo at Chaos Sanctuary

Even without Teleport in the Catacombs there is good monster density and Hell Andariel is pretty easy as long as you got geared up from farming NM Baal/Diablo

Played too much D2, like probably 5000 hours at least. Lots of pvp, online trading etc. But D2R is just gay. The pvp is dogshit, they pozzed some of the characters, the item art is complete crap, many of the enemies look stupid as fuck like burning souls, many of the spells look like shit etc etc. Outside of them buffing shitty builds, vanilla is better.

Played it for a while, I think the remaster is largely good. Unfortunately it's not all perfect, but being as there hasn't been a content patch in over a year at this point it's unlikely the skeleton crew in charge of D2R will do anything else beyond the recent CHINGCHONGNIPNONG server.
Terror Zone Andy/Mephisto are too good for loot. Mosaic needs to be deleted and a second attempt made to fix charge-up skills. Stash tabs and loot filters should be added to the core game and not require mods.

wat? Amp damage just does exactly what it says. It doubles damage (physical only) dealt to the cursed target. It has nothing to do with defense homie. You must be new lol. Defense is more about chance to dodge physical attacks, like actual swing attacks, not reducing damage. Defense and attack rating are in combat with one another. High defense = one needs more attack rating to hit that target. The only stats that reduce physical damage are % damage reduction like from Shaftstop, Shako, Verdungo's, Stormshield and others, OR reduce flat amount of damage like on Gladiator's Bane which can add up vs many instances of damage like for example those little dart shooting shits in Act 3.

There are lots of times in endgame zones where the game cannot handle how many items are on screen and will hide drops until you pick some of the shit up and drop it elsewhere. Lower Kurast, Cows, sometimes during Baal Waves. I've sometimes almost missed high rune drops entirely if it were not for keeping sound on and actually hearing something drop, and going back and forth to check what it was. I'm sure I HAVE missed more rune drops.

Gold is almost a complete non-issue now that autopickup exists. Unless your plan is to spend multiple millions of gold gambling on circlets or ammies (maybe to craft caster ammies), you don't need to care about picking up loot to sell anymore. I'll pick up stuff from Pindle or Meph runs to sell, but if I want lots of gold I'll just run a gold find barb in Trav.

This is objectively wrong and you are retarded. It quite literally does what you say it doesn't.
If the enemy has 0 physical reduction, it reduces it to -100 (doubles effective damage). If an enemy has 50 phys reduction, it reduces it to -50 (triples effective damage). If an enemy is at 90, it drops it to -10 (about 11x damage).
If an enemy is immune, any curses/auras will apply at 1/5th effectiveness - an enemy with 110% phys resistance will drop to 90% phys resistance when affected by amplify, but decrepify (which is normally -50% resistance) will only drop it to 100 and thus not break immunity.

Paladin's Sanctuary aura actually DOES set physical resistance of undead monsters to 0, regardless of values or immunities. But Decrepify, Lower Resist, Amp Damage, Conviction will work as %modifiers. And NONE of these affect the Defense stat, which is used to calculate hit chance.

I like resurrected. The ability to set players 8 made leveling so much easier. Played a zeal paladin, and actually used rune words for the first time. Got to hell difficulty and lost interest since my dps wasn't good enough and didn't want to respect to make it easier.
