$600 is the sweet spot for sure. People don't expect this to be as cheap as a console, but when you start going higher and higher, the value compared to an entry gaming PC goes down harder and harder. $650 is the highest I'd be willing to go.

If it's cheap enough, cheaper than building your own PC with the same specs counterpart, I can see a lot of people that don't play any AAA games and just play mainstream games like dota / league buying it and turning it into PC by installing windows.

It'll be worth it for the more optimized PC games too. Cyberpunk 2077 at this point runs on actual dogshit hardware really well. CDPR put a ton of elbow grease into making that game look and run great.
