Just tried the first episide. Now I am stuck contemplating what the hell sort of game I allowed to be installed on my PC. Could they put any more dick jokes in the game? Marvel writing is like Shakespeare compared to this trash. I'm probably 10 minutes or so into the first episode and I think they managed to cram the word "fuck" at least 50 times. The second scene with blonde skank had to have her say "dicks" for no reason and I'm just sitting there, looking in my mirror, thinking: "Am I retarded for actually playing this?" Does this bag of shit get interesting or should I just uninstall before my playtime goes over 25 minutes? I go over here to see if anyone is talking about the game and the first thing I see is an X repost from some fag's profile with a rainbow flag next to it.

If you think it's nonsense now, wait for season 2, they'll be "trimming" the story branches. Villain and hero Invisigal can't be too different. Coupe and the bat also sound like too much work they'll want to not do. They'll try to sneak in a Malevola romance, which means breakup drama. All sorts of goofy shit.

compare to the nice tasteful nudity of wolf among us. nobody ever expected mermaid stripper boobs from fucking telltale. nobody pitched those boobs to anyone put off by the source material (gay comic but at least not superheroes) as the main reason to buy the game. the devs waited til what episode 3 which was months after the first, it was a nice immersive atmospheric surprise. and you could pursue those sex worker boobs but doing so wasn't the focus of the game and marketing. it was a little chaste moody noir pining for each other with a nice little payoff during the final episode's stinger. not this straight to dvd playersexual bg3 wank

OP here. Been trying to finish the bar scene in the first episode. I keep pausing and taking a moment to look outside my window after almost every sentence these characters bring out of their mouths. I think I had to let out a sigh almost every 15 seconds. This writing is ludo retarded.

Tell me. How did you like the game? What is your critical perspective on the story and writing? I will give it another try. Stil, in all my decades of playing games, I have never felt this uncomfortable watching characters interact wth each other before and I've had my main character dance with that gay wizard companion in BG3. It's like they concentrated all possible stereotypes about capesloppa into one single project.

I think you indirectly hit a big point talking about The Wolf Among Us: stories and their influences. The little things, the nods; the tasteful, time-and-place things. Good writing is a sign of writers who enjoy reading and who have good influences.

All they have going for them is "I'm 14 and this is deep," easy-to-digest Marvelslop. These writers don't read, don't watch movies, and don't know how to tell a good story.
