In the long run your choices don't really matter.
For example The Walking Dead season 2 has multiple endings, but season 3 starts the same.
It's pretty unsatisfying because characters that can die from your choices are written off if they survive the season.

Very rarely, and if they were to do so for this game it would require a shitload of effort, as Visi who the story revolves around, can become either a hero or a major villain. They'd have to make a decision one way or the other. If I had to guess if they are set on a sequel with returning characters they'll simply say that she became a hero and whether you romanced her will change scenes, but I'm not sure. Either way, Telltale never put that much effort into their choices, so whatever they choose you might as well think of it as a sequel movie to this movie, because that's basically what this game is.
