I dont think its that much different from the 3DS games, theres a metric ton more UI but the bones are still there, maybe try pirating it first. If you want to do buy and refund, play chronicle mode since story mode unironically takes 6 hours to get to a single soccer match

When you do any of the minigames in the story that aren't the rock paper scissors one lock it to 60 to 30 fps. Not only do those minigames become easier but they won't break.
