I am so, so glad that didn't happen to me.

This was a delight through and through. I was a bit perturbed by the length of the episodes at first but the writing was solid throughout and the ending felt sattisfying. I got the bad invisigal ending so definitely gonna go back and do another run start-to-finish this weekend.

In all honesty Flambae not having a different appearance or even just an alternate color scheme during the flashback scene in his loss against Mecha Man sucked. Like you cross over to being a hero to the point where you have a solid lead on the rest of the Z Squad with W's in the triple digits and in your rebrand you couldn't alternate your wrestling gear? If anything I would have welcomed the jab at comics of the constant changing attire shift in a bid to capture the interest of new readers by shaking things up. People cope about the ending by trying to describe how Shroud's actions actually "make sense" because he's stupid and emotional while putting up a cold veneer. But what these people don't get is THAT IS NOT A GOOD THING, even if it were true. Because it is not as satisfying to read about beating a stupid and emotional villain using simple and childish tactics. Of course, different people will have different tastes, but it should be obvious on the face of it that 'defeating a smart villain through clever means' is far better and widely appreciated and more difficult than 'defeating a stupid villain through childish means.' People just generally like competent villains more than stupid villains in general, so it's not a triumph to go 'heh, indeed, Shroud is stupid and only smart when the plot demands.' That in fact just seals the ending's death sentence.

Just saying if I was Shroud, I'd have had some kind of central control system that lets him turn off anyone's enhancements. Plus, the procedure of installing them basically injects a killswitch into the body of whoever has them. He doesn't tell anyone this of course.
And then say when Visi had to get the enhancements because of her worsening condition, you keep them active the whole time until the grand finale then drop the bombshell that by his calculations, enough time has passed now that her condition has deteriorated to the point that she can't live without the augments. Give up the pulse, Visi lives. Fuck around, she dies. This basically lets Shroud escape. If you supported her she'll stick with the team to find a solution together. If you made her go villain, she takes the gun and uses the last bullet to kill Shroud, swearing that no one else will be a victim of his. This of course leaves her to die in Rob's arms, hoping she redeemed herself which was all she ever wanted.
So instead of just haha I have your dog that you can save at literally anytime, raise the goddamn stakes a bit, give your INT Villains contingencies upon contingencies. I dunno just spitballing ideas.

The characters swore too much. Like it unironically just isn't an attractive trait. All it tells me is the characters aren't being given enough time to really think about their statements. Like I bet there's a certain appeal in "realistic" dialogue but there "realistic" that people shoot got like the kind of stutters and trail-offs of human dialogue that shows like Smiling Friends or Haha, You Clowns or sometimes South Park or Family Guy will exaggerate but still nail.

There's a certain draw to dialogue. You can't pepper do many swear words because by it's very nature the words are negative. Like bro Robert had a wonderful little date with Mandy. He wakes up the next morning and sees her first thing to make plans for later. The Indian bro congrats him. Waterboy drops off free donuts. And then the first thing Robert does is sit down and say
