Imagine Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, but with a 40K rebrand of everything. It's about that deep gameplay wise, there's more enemy variety and definitely a lot more weapons and playstyles than Left 4 Dead, but it tacks on a lot of "live service" gear grinding as its main means of progression. That stuff works on zoomers but it just makes me feel like not bothering, past a certain point.
But I'd say I've gotten maybe 90 hours out of it, over the last few years, it's not terrible just a little to mindless for my tastes. Frantic, at the higher difficulties, but still very much just "hold M1 in the direction the enemies are streaming from" just with more positioning and footwork required to not die.
I give it a 7/10.
