I bought the Switch 2 knowing that there would be no games I actually want on the thing until next week.
Mario Kart World was fine, but Nintendo's insistence on playing the game their way killed it.
I did not care for Donkey Kong Bananza.
I do not care for Hyrule Warriors.
I refuse to buy Pokemon Legends Z-A.
The only Switch 1 upgrade I actually have at the moment is Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Probably, but I don't have much fun with the gameplay loop, a lot of it is just waiting around for the research to be done and experimenting in a sandbox environment, I don't get much of a dopamine boost from working out how to make it work. Either that or I've played many games that I consider more fun than it.

FNV massive letdown after I played FO3. I did have remorse on NMS for years but they fixed most issues I had for the game. I spent around 1000 on skins on league. I sold my account for 600 since I had rare beta skins and hard to obtain shit, genuinely hate myself for ever playing it. Honestly most remorse is just lessons. Haven't bought a game I felt bad about for years. Could be worse.

I bought this piece of shit at full price and we completed in less than a week of 3 to 4 hour play sessions. I can't believe it was so bad it made me appreciate the second game more.
Similarly, Borderlands 4 was another recent disappoint, not as bad, but again it made me appreciate Borderlands 3 more, just the base game, not even including the DLCs.

The only two games I found bad enough to want to return were Metroid Other M and Animal Crossing New Horizons
Red Dead Redemption 2. Every action is unbelievably tedious and takes at least 3 business days to complete. It's almost as if they thought realism = fun. The setting also didn't interest me in the slightest, while the gameplay loop was the same repetitive shit that they've been doing in the GTA series since forever. Overall, the mission design is shit and I regret wasting several hours of my life on it.

Personally I live Cultist Dimulator because I enjoy occult themes but the game has a lot if busywork you need to concern yourself with and it involves a lot of headbashing at roadblocks until you begin figuring out the trends of progression.
What's funny is that once you understand the process is very simple but to an outsider any explanation just sounds like the ravings of a lunatic, which is fitting.

Steam deck. I actually love it a lot, but it holds a weird place for me. I can emulate much on my phone and it is more convenient for portability, while all the heavy-duty games are on my computer. I love the deck, but it has too much overlap with both of these other devices for me to call it an efficient use of money.
For games, probably the original version of doom 3 on steam, because I discovered all the improvements BFG edition had afterwards.

One of the worst things about RDR2 isn't even the "movie game" shit, nor is it the actions with ridiculously long animations for the sake of realism. It's the fact that RDR2 has so much time that is just like sitting in traffic in your car.
You know why traffic sucks? It's not because you're not doing anything. If traffic was "wait here for 5m, browse your phone, put your car in park, and relax, then go normal speed", no one would hate traffic. Traffic sucks because you're going nowhere, doing nothing, but cannot for a second look away or lose focus. Lose focus for one second and you'll get honked at, yelled at, or risk an accident.
And that's RDR2. There's so much time you're just riding from point A to point B while characters chat. So many times you're walking in a straight line. But you have to keep your hands on the controller every single second because leaping over a bush by accident can end the mission and set you back 10 minutes. I'd rather have a 30 minute cutscene than 5 minutes of "playing" but not doing anything.
Overall I still enjoy the game, but after a replay I definitely have a lesser opinion on it.

Enter the Matrix. A broken game with a lackluster story that no one interested in the overall narrative would care about.

GSG may just not be for you. It's really satisfying seeing the map and your country working. Even though most of the game is just spent staring at the map waiting for shit to get done.

When I started playing TF2 I didn't know the Mann Co. Store was a rip-off so I bought a bunch of overpriced weapons and hats from it
If I see new players I make sure to tell them so they don't make my same mistake
I have a lot of embarrassing purchases over the years. I played a lot of licensed garbage

Same, but I got it for cheap, so it's not a big deal.
I tried playing the story 5 times or so and it wasn't just fun.
I had more fun kidnapping a woman with a lasso and having the police chase me more than anything.

Honestly all they need to do is they remake it is just take out the procedural generated bullshit and just do a cool Bioshock/Dishonored knockoff and keep the voice acting and writing.
It's not bad, it's just it was developed back when "muh procedural generation" was the hottest shit/buzzword.

It's not really a "burning hatred" kind of disappointment but it's still $35 I might as well have just lit on fire instead. At least the porn's pretty good.

You get an unbreakable pickaxe that 1shots everything you hit and then you spend a solid 3 minutes walking down a hallway while everything builds up like there's gonna be a big climactic boss battle, and then you just immediately die and the game ends

I made it to about when you get the chick party member and I got bored. Also Yakuzafags never mentioned the 2 hour intro cutscene when shilling this game.

In recent years the only ones I've wasted my own money on are deep rock galactic and helldivers 2. Friends wanted to play them and I find them both just offensively boring. Plus the first like month of helldivers 2 you couldn't play with your crossplay friends.
