What was his problem with Steam Greenlight? This guy used to spam his YouTube with videos complaining about this nearly every week. I actually couldn't care less if Steam allows some shitty homemade games on their platform. At worst you can just ignore them, at best you might find a a rare diamond in the rough. Why did he care so much? Was it the autism?

Steam used to be somewhat curated. Greenlight ended that. Early Access as well. The reason so much slop is on Steam now is because Valve let any chucklefuck upload to the service. And half the time these "devs" were asset flipping lolcows in the making. Jim was basically a pot calling the kettle black and those videos have aged like fine wine.

Why did people hate Steam Greenlight? Seems having a userbase to vote for games was a lot more competent than now where VNs are censored/delisted but AI generated porn games are allowed.
I get business is business, but Steam is infinitely worse now than it used to be in terms of library
