Alright, I managed to beat the final Dispatch mission this time around. I think I realize part of the problem on why I didn't beat it, you're just supposed to focus on the boss and ignore all the missions, but that's so lame. I didn't even manage to do the mission where you beat the Lieutenant. And I only barely managed to do the Mole Man attack mission. These missions are direct consequences of your past actions and you're supposed to ignore them because you're on a time limit.

Anyways, I have now earned the right to personally tell Sonar to fuck off and go spend some time in jail for being a war criminal, rather than have BB make the decision for me.

Oh, yeah, and Invisigal still turned villain. I didn't use her all that much but I did upgrade her a fair amount. I guess it really is just a combination of all my choices. But I was pretty nice to her overall, so she's a bitch as far as I'm concerned.

It's not a coincidence that the 26% and 28% are that close. You guys are picking the very few examples of people that were able to romance BB and still get Invisigal on their side, but clearly the conditions to actually pull that off are pretty rocky. It doesn't look like a big deal because most people were romancing Invisigal to begin with

Fact of the matter is that on the second run I was a great Dispatcher. As has already been established many times, the stats are inverted, so I was in the top 10% across all shifts. I just didn't use Invisigal all that much nor romance her nor kneel before her at every possible step of the way. And that's all it takes.

And let's not even get into the fact that she always calls out Thumbsticks if you don't uncuff her. She says you need her help to not get killed and then just blatantly tries killing you. Cope all you want.

Nope. I freed her from the ziptie in both my playthroughs. I think the other anon is right and that it's a points system where using Invisigal a lot in the Dispatch missions gives you a good amount of points to have her be on the hero side. Most people just bypass the system entirely, though, because they romance her, which is probably worth a lot of points.

Really hoping enough buzz about an infinite dispatch mode is generated to get them to make it. The town health and boss battles were great. Seems easy to make a "roguelite" mode where you play for like a set number of days building up heroes every run.

The absolute ideal for me, if they had infinite budget and time, would be an endless mode that has in-game shifts and days bookended by short daily ife vignettes of the characters. Short clips of Robert getting a twinkie with Chase and Waterboy talking jovially in the background. Phenomoman and Punch Up practicing their team up move where Punch Up gets thrown at a target in the parking lot with different degrees of success. Malevola portaling out/in from different locations and with different people. Robert earing lunch with his chosen love interest. That kind of stuff.

All stuff you don't even need to get voice actors for.

The cutting shit in this game makes zero sense.

Golem and Flambae are by far the most disruptive and awful people on the team yet they aren't cut options, despite the devs likely knowing from a mile away that no one will care for them. Instead they make you choose between a hot latina with a cool powerset that actually wants to change her life around and has been sorta nice to Robert since the bar, and the funny batman who most people like, and who's also liked in universe by the team.

I really don't get why in universe Golem and Flambae aren't booted. Setting the entire thing up based on a scoreboard makes zero sense in the first place. It's a team with the goal of helping with tragedies, being disruptive and an asshole should 100% be an instant boot compared to getting bad grades.

I thought about his base ability just being an inspiration Aura that gives the high morale buff to whichever hero he works with, or is nearby if you want to go the Blond Blazer route.
Similarly, since he was Mecha Man for 15 years, I thought about statting him as a Rank 15 Hero (above cap like Blazer, not as high as her though).
For his other powers, the Flight license ability all flyers get is an obvious one. An upgrade power for him I imagine would be based on how he has that scripted event where he can undown/heal heroes. His alternate ability would just be boosting the stats with his morale boost higher.

Your stats seem about right though. Mobility seems to be his weakness and despite the mech suit he's not THAT tanky and the battle damage sticks.

The problem here is that we can boost any character's given stats past 7/8 easily, so the real comparison to those stats is a bit muddled. BB can defeat any Z-teamer in combat, even if Prism is broken for example.
I think Mecha Man should work like Sonar, and change his attributes depending on whether he's using the suit or not (more combat/vigor vs more intelligence/charisma)

In the game he says Robert II not building him a mech when Shroud held up his end of the bargain and made the Pulse was just one of the many things Robert II walked back on.

In the comics it's shown Robert II basically strung him along making him build stuff in exchange for a promised spot in the Brave Brigade, but never actually delivered, and eventually beat the shit out of him when Shroud had enough.

Honestly, Shroud would be a cool addition to the Phoenix Program. He's obviously able to put his intelligence to good uses (Visi's implants, the Pulse, hell, even Armstrong), and he respects heroes, he just doesn't feel any drive to do good because he's been screwed over by the system.
