I may be able to, but I'll have to transplant all the parts into a larger case. The old PC is a small form factor, with a small power supply. Also, some motherboards that old resist posting when confronted with a GPU that is significantly more modern than itself. Sometimes there is some settings that can be changed to weasel past the issue, but this old motherboard is particularly lacking in bios options. Still, I can grab an intermediate GPU, like a 2060, and could get by.

You can do a metalic crew.
You can do matte crew.
You can do it with chameleon.
Technically you can do it with chrome too, but it's hard to tell in the results.

Go to a pay-n-spray, because your own shop won't do the trick.
Paint in any metallic/matte/whatever.
Then paint in the crew color.
Then leave online and go into single player.
Then go back into online.
That should be it.

I get lost inside the casino. I wish that the model in the arcade let you simulate a walk-through of the building. Otherwise the model is useless.

Truth.

Pearlescent over anything trick, such as matte or chameleon:
Go to a pay-n-spray, because your own shop won't do the trick.
Paint in the matte color of your choice. (really any paint of any type)
Then browse around the metallic paints, but don't pick one.
Back out a couple of levels, and change something else on the car, like the license plates.
Go directly back into paint, and directly into pearlescent.
That's it.

The pay-n-spray will unfortunately limit you to the colors you have unlocked in races.
Crew colors never resist pearlescent anyhow, so you don't need a trick, and can do so in your own auto shop where everything is unlocked.

I've been quietly getting back into it on PC, but making progress again by small incriments. As you may know I spent most of my time playing on xbox.
No particular goals in mind outside of wanting to pimp out a hangar, get and avenger to pimp out, and a couple of other things. One of the main appeals to this game is the personalization aspect. The game's design really is paradoxical as far as the goals go, and it ultimately boils down to a lack of substance. There are goals and things to keep the player engaged and the philosophy is something like live service but new things are offered (at least these days) very slowly, and seldomly. A lot of the weeks have been rather unspectacular in the last year, so it almost feels like they are working against the philosophy of the game, there's gotta be something there to keep it fresh somehow, completionism in gta online is a years long errond.
Frens can make things interesting but even that kind of rests on the back of what people have available to them in the game.
I could be wrong, that's just my personal takeaway from my experience, and it could be a me problem, I've come to see 2 possible ways of approching the game, from goal oriented (long term scope) and a more in the now way of playing, and I have felt unsatisfied in both of them, but this really probably is just down to my experience, plus I'm dumb. Never really had frens to play it with, nor much to offer there, but I'm sure it theoretically could be fun. Only problem there is sociability, a domain in which I'm utterly destitute.

The very presence of that communcations makes heists and such leagues better. On pc if I stay in a lobby for any extended period it drops down to like 10-15 people. You can see ppl leaving the lobby in droves, it's odd. It also always feels like something is wrong, things load forever, traffic acting strange, disconnects.

Usually I like to use the deluxo for rescues. I can missile the mooks and abscond with my customer. They don't really know how to deal with chasing the deluxo when I just fly away.

At any rate, yesterday I had to rescue someone out in Paleto Bay. I wanted to play with the coquette with the bullet-proof glitch, so I took that car instead. And yeah, they can't shoot my customer while they are in the car either. I drove off thinking proudly that this was working. Unfortunately, glitch not withstanding, the car is somewhat fragile. At least when up against those mounted guns in the bed of the trucks. Car caught fire and I had to bail. Given I was in a rush, I ended stealing one of the enemy trucks on the spot and continuing the route. It lost two tires right away, but those rebel trucks still drive pretty well with a couple of flats. Unfortunately, the next set of spawned enemies, managed to set that truck on fire too. I was lucky that the customer followed me closely enough to not get caught up in the explosions. Switched to another enemy truck, and finished the route. My customer was quite wrecked, but survived.

A lot of the recent content for online has been unused content from single player. They still have some left to release.

My personal wish would be for some of the basic game rules to change.
100k is low of a cap on keeping stolen cars, for a game that is based on the concept of stealing cars.
Requiring multiple people to be on heists, it preventing them from being playable, so it would be nice to be allowed to solo almost literally everything.
