Welp bros, this is it. My final post on this general. At first, I thought that I could balance Epic Seven and Etheria: Restart with ease, and at first, I could. But I can’t survive on gacha alone; I need to play real games again, like Elden Ring and Genshin. I can still drop into Etheria: Restart while doing so, but Epic Seven just requires too much investment to have a gaming life outside of it.
Admittedly, this was not an easy decision for me to make. Partly because I’ve spent $2000, though that is a paltry sum to an adult like me. But mostly, I feel like I’m responsible for this entire general. I created the first thread ever, and even came up with the name /e7g/. As the one who gave birth to this community, I’m saddened that I have to leave it all behind, and let younger anons take the reins.
Before I go, remember this: though I may be gone, I will remain with you in spirit. I’m proud to have been part of the /e7g/ family, and given the chance, I would do it all again. Goodbye, my friends. May we might again, in another time

If the game has the balls to fully embrace the rogue route and spare us wyvern simulator II it has a chance to be amazing, but if it lets all the usual gacha gameplay loop system destro it it also can be incredibly disappointing.

Playing Etheria right now for the pvp and enjoying the game much more than E7 but I am honestly more excited for CZN.
Super Creative, as funny as it sounds, always shined when it came to their creativity. Making an enjoyable pvp experience was never their strong suit and CZN, whether it has pvp or not, looks like it's at least flexing their strongest point by far.
The only gacha I was REALLY looking forward to before the latest trailer has been Endfield, but after seeing more of CZN I might actually be more excited for it.
The fact that the female dev that ruined epic seven seems to have no part in it also helps.

I for example rarely farmed in E7 because it's just completely unrealistic to expect someone to have the game open to farm gear all day, now I can farm a lot more than I ever did here . But the most important part is that farming a specific set here is also not nearly as important because you have shells that make completing set effects much, much easier. Some set bonuses also overlap, so even if you want to build just speed sets on one character, there is just one set that gives speed bonuses. Not to mention you WANT to use more sets since shells provide sets bonuses for up to three different sets. So you actually want to farm multiple sets at the same time to maximize the three different set bonuses you get from shells. This systens also adds a lot more gear customization that e7 lacks.
The gear system is different, you are not going to get anywhere by judging it from the perspective of a different game.

You are once again talking about a system that you have no idea about how it actually functions and just assume it's exactly as E7.
You need dupes a lot more in E7 and they are much harder to get as well.
