It’s not actually a perfect fit since only the higher level monsters SS from hand so I can see the usual “oops I bricked” problem but this is an enormous step up over fighting over the extra monster zone with Sky Striker or summoning Hugin just to immediately link her away. Runick really appreciates more ways to draw, extra interaction not tied to RNG on what you drew from deck is great too, and the Wind lock is only for the rest of the turn so barring future support being link based it doesn’t do anything.

God this is going to be so ass and I’m going to play it anyways just so I can be a contrarian who plays Runick without floodgates

There seems to be a fairy slop deck slowly forming. with the vingolf cards and diviner you get access to sanctuary in the sky trap a bit easier to control the field. Fairy is either missing a link 1 fairy or a monster that acts as a bridge between extender and play maker.

Dueling Book is the worst place for learning competitive because people are stupid and either don't know their stuff or shark you. The card game is like that too, so you mitigate that by playing with actual good players/friends that know how to play and will stick with the right gameplay. Going for manual simulators with random opponents is the same of wasting your time instead of actually learning.

Automatic simulators leave no space for missplays/cheating and it's a better way to understand how things work, as long as you do your job of reading the effects.
