What made Hexblast good was its super long range, its freeze, and its quick cast time. Penance brand also doesnt require you to cast much, just once or twice from far then you can jump around

I’m a very casual Poe2 enjoyer, I don’t know what half the things that get discussed in this sub are because I’ve just never come across them in my game and I’m like level 91 doing t15 maps.

Anyway, I decided to try the recombination machine to upgrade my very mediocre Gemini bow.

I was flabbergasted to find it was 5% chance of success? Like man what are the devs scared of? That I’m going to roll a weapon with 3 good modifiers and suddenly drop the game because I’m too OP all of a sudden?

Man there are so many classes and ascendancies that even if I could craft good gear I still would need to play for years to experience them all and get the most out of this game.

Legitimately, I have no desire to start a new character because the idea of finding good enough gear to farm t15 maps again on another class is such a slog for a casual player.

You need to combine flat damage (weapon for attacks/spell level for spells), increased damage, and % more multipliers (either explicit ones that say "XY" more damage with X or ones that aren't explicit, such as adding another projectile to a projectile skills). Balance these 3 things around.
If you're playing an elemental skill, find penetration/exposure or a way to ignore resists.
If you're playing a chaos skill, find a way to apply a lot of chaos.
Dot spells are shit and are very hard to make work if you're new, don't pob those.

Champ without celestial brace still gets 18% inc. attack speed from fortify, 18% more armour/eva, adrenaline and hits can't be evaded+15% more damage.
On top of that you don't have to waste a gem slot or a chest implicit on fortify and your fortify uptime is perfect. If you use pers, you also have onslaught and armor/eva scaling for damage.
Having all this increased damage and increased attack speed and solved fortify lets you just aggressively take other mechanics on your gear and tree.
Any slayer pob you have that isn't a charge stacker probably does more damage now if you switch to champ, add pers, and take the steadfast cluster.

My PC is aging hard, and I can't sustain playing juiced maps anymore. Each update seems to make it harder on my old laptop.
I have an xbox series s, though, and poe is apparently playable on console.
How does the performance hold up? Could I map comfortably?
