I was learning the game in top lane with Morde/Gwen with a smidgen of Pantheon, when I started getting recommended youtube videos of MY KING. Lissandra for me is the champion that ignited my passion for league really. I tried her a long time ago when she was on free rotation because I was fairly new to the game and I couldnt deal with assassins at all (at the time I only played veigar, malphite and old GP), im talking people going 30/0 on champs like kat and old akali. I read and heard from some of my friends that she was good against assassins so I figured 'hey why not'. She just clicked with me really. The first game I played as her I got my first ever triple kill with her. I got my first double and quadra with her too, (not penta though lel)
From there I was looking up builds, plays and got into the esport aspect of the game because of that. I started later than my friends who played league so it brought me to their level in that sense.
Fun fact shes the only champion i ever bought with RP, and I remember that moment too.
Isn't it funny that almost 10 years onward from that moment im still here, and im still playing her and the game?

Your teammates have to use a combination of proper matchup and macro knowledge to make use of grubs and YOU have to make use of your brain to use Rift Herald correctly (assuming you dont fuck that up which is possible). Baron operates on the same premise: it relies on your teammates not being on their phones with the baron buff up which is a really tall order these days.

Bottom, on the other hand, has buffs for the whole team. Now, earlier this year, Riot goes and introduces atakhan and they handwave the irrelevance of top objectives by making it d y n a m i c. Ooh fancy. No, it's a trap because you can always make it spawn bottom. If it spawned top, someone fucked up. Bottom always needs the help because it has the adc and the support. I shouldn't have to write another essay on why those two roles need help when compared to top.
