you use nibiru to remove the bodies on the field before your opponent completes his board. you need to know how the decks play to use it against them effectively. the bodies you give them is just a token with the same stats as the monsters tributed but it can easily be dealt with. always put the token in defense btw. you can look at some tournament plays with commentary to familiarize yourself with the game

Bullshit. It's always a question of gas and enemy handtraps.
There is a difference between not knowing what an abomination like Flower Cardian does and what a deck centered around a certain summoning technique usually pulls off. They all know at least Electrumite and Astrograph and what they do, but them being badly briefed about these cards is what makes them fold.
The center of the mechanic is to make the core of your 10-20 minutes combo field through the pendulum summon. When you understand that, these decks become predictable as fuck even if you don't like to read (their text).
The average pendulum hand has at least a one card combo and two other pendulum monsters that can be more or less useful. If the player immediately sets two scales it's most likely to bait an Ash or an Ogre for his more obvious one card combo that is often a monster that he normal summons.

TL;DR: stop crying and do multitask until he pendulum summons

Depends. Do you know what their deck is? Is it turn 2+? Can you OTK? Can you OTK under/through Nib? Do you have hand traps in your hand? Did you chew through multiple hand traps leaving them with less gas in theirs? Do you have followup? Can you set up interruptions in few enough summons to be worth it?

It's possible your deck just sucks against them if you're playing some all-or-nothing combo deck like Plantlink, but there are decks like Memento that are really good vs the Mucharmies or Centurion which completely ignores those and is good into Maxx C. Some like Melodious can just Droll themselves to stop Maxx C.
Also staying as close to 40 cards as possible is far more important in OCG/MD than TCG since it maximizes chances to draw your Maxx C counters. Hopefully you're already playing Ash, Called By, and probably Crossout.

I've tried mixing Tear with Lightsworn. It's unplayably bad. Fucking Chimera is more consistent than Tear, and Chimera has a single choke point that's vulnerable to most hand traps.

Well this is the largest combo I could possibly make with maliss thought someone might like to see, white binder at the end should've definitely gone on the extra deck zone in case you need a banish that can't be denied from heart crypter but whatever not like you couldn't have used that one earlier.
You can revive crypter next turn with trap and allied needs to kill something to activate so there's effectively link 26 worth of summons on the board.
You can also kill off red ransom and white binder there with code of soul activation on opponent turn to summon lizard which will then banish one of your maliss in grave including the links you just killed and resummon them with effect

It's definitely more like SE than branded. It's a link climbing deck, your gameplay is almost always going to be transform 1 monster into 2 monsters into a link-2 into link-2 + 1 body into a malice link-3 into link-3 + 1 body etc etc.

However I will say that malice as a whole is more difficult than SE and a LOT harder than blue-eyes or centurion. Like no one is going to fuck up normal summon dormouse (at least I would hope so) but some combos are not so easy to see especially when you start getting into firewall or early apo lines, the sequencing can be weird sometimes. But it is not as fancy as branded can be sometimes.

The combos seem long but you're mainly resolving Dragoons over and over and over again because its not once per turn.
All you need to do is keep track of your WATERs in grave for Moulinglacia and get your head around which cards search for each other, because every fucking card across the Mermail/Atlantean archetypes has a different search condition.

Some only work with Atlanteans, some only work with Mermails, some work with any WATER some specifically need Aqua/Fish/Sea Serpent. It can be a headache.

You're allowed to play it in White Forest Azamina. People do usually cut it to make room for other stuff, but it's a fine card if you want to play a bit more pure. It can give you much stronger pushes through Nib if you're lacking the proper extenders.
