Will they include the OTS Maximum and Ritual? Feels weird they didn't reveal the cover was Endless Doom Oblivion like they did right away with Majesty for KP21. With KP20 they did the same shit of misleading people with Oblivion Ark to reveal the cover was Chaos Oblivion at the Jump Festa.

like negate attack for example, it's worse than let's say compulse, but it makes up for it by having a great miller that decrease all opps monsters attack by 2000 if it's on field.

as for the other issue like others said alot of legends have name changers. summoned skull especially has 2 awesome retrains.

*I've done some abortive attempts at that for the TCG in the past but never really got too far in figuring it out, would probably be a lot easier to do for Rush Duels since it heavily simplifies a lot of things compared to "Master Duels" rules(not to mention more unified card design thanks to things like the [Requirement] and [Effect] formatting for card effects)
Stop trying to fix what isn't broken. Current legend system is surprisingly perfectly functional.
The biggest problem cards aren't even legends (jest, sevens wonder fusion etc) I'd worry about those first.

Printed speed is no longer an excuse to hold back against it. The release gap can be sorted out through a couple of different ways that have been talked about over time in this general. I guess Aqua is the loli type now, since Berry Fresh is also that, but there's no explanation for it and they've always been water-related before. Kappa are still Aqua too.

Psychic Kappa and Kappa Avenger have been around since old Yugioh. The three aquatic-related types have always been a confusing mess. Sometimes whales and dolphins are Fish, but sometimes they're Sea Serpents. Sometimes sea serpents are Sea Serpents but sometimes they're Aqua (Roaring Ocean Snake, for example). Sometimes mermaids are Fish, but sometimes they're Sea Serpents, and sometimes they're Aqua. Sometimes, a human with water manipulation powers is a Spellcaster, but sometimes that makes it an Aqua. I guess it's because right off the bat, Kaz introduced 3 different types for aquatic creatures that all debuted at the same time in Mako's duel but he didn't think at the time that this would turn into a real game.
If you mean Berry Fresh, sure, they're supposed to be fruit, so the loli appearance is probably an illusion of some sort. It's still weird that they're not plants, though. Seems like they really are Aqua because they're lolis.

It just sounds like you dropped the game as soon as you saw black borders and never even learned what an Xyz monster is. Xyz materials behave in a completely different way from any other mechanic introduced before. This is an objective fact. Each Xyz monster has its own inventory of materials and these materials don't count as being in the field, in the GY, in the deck, or banished. No fusion card does something like that. Do you seriously not see how this is different from shuffling the materials into the deck like Contact Fusion does?

The in-archetype quick-play spells give an Epurelly different effects when they're attached as materials. And when you rank up to an Expurelly, those efffects are still applied. Also, did I mention that you make a rank 2 by stacking a level 1 and a quick-play spell and can rank it up to 7 when it gathers 5 materials by attaching cards from either GY or field? Explain how this is a Contact Fusion or how taking an opponent's card hostage and giving it to your dog is a "glorified spell counter".

And there's also cases like Purrely where the card itself says that it adds an effect when it's attached. It's legitimately a cool ED mechanic with a lot of room for modular design.
After looking at other card games, I think Rush duels are the way to go (if not for the sudden powercreep they introduce like the recent Harpies support but EVERY card game does that at one point)

I already love this new Hundred Divine Dragon
This stupid deck really sucks, but it's really fun. It feels better than previous attempts at this idea because I actually remembered that the flip and flap dragons exist and because the rising light spell facilitates Miragiastar OTKs and helps you draw cards. Hundred divine dragon is probably unnecessary, but I love it and it helped me draw into good cards once.
I want either Dragias or Star Restart to come off the list or for Metagiastar F to come out so badly...
