Seems there could be at least three routes. For ease of understanding I say we canonize them with names. The normal do nothing weird route we can simple refer to as the "cuck route" as you will be cucking yourself out of deeper experience offered by the other routes. The second deals with themes of lose of innocence and robbing of ones autonomy so we can use an apt word, and call it the "rape route", previously known as the snow grave route. And finally it seems another route will involve aborting the rape route mid rape, so we can simply refer to it as the abortion route.

So how does the love finds its way to the girl prophecy make sense in the weird route if the girl is not Noelle? In the normal route this should obviously be Suselle, but the weird route removes a lot of those scenes in favor of Kriselle stuff. Don’t know what other romances in weird route could happen at this point, especially with Kris (the soul) being fixated on Noelle and her slowly becoming more isolated.

Alright /utg/, sorry if this has already been said but I think I cracked Deltarune's endings. I think the theory about what Weird Route entails with the sacrifices is right, but I'll add a little more. With Gerson's line about "going between the lines" and the way Kris acts throughout the chapters I think these are the most likely outcomes:
>Normal End
The Prophecy is fulfilled. Susie is sacrificed, (YOU) relinquish control of Kris and they live free. This is a bittersweet end, but for Kris, its preferable because they never really knew Susie before (YOU) gained control of them.
>Weird Route End
The Prophecy is fulfilled. Noelle is sacrificed, (YOU) take full control over Kris. For the player, who has a much closer bond with Susie, this is preferable, but Kris loses their childhood friend. It has bleak implications, its basically (YOU) bruteforcing the prophecy to save Susie at the cost of Kris's life/happiness.

"Going between the lines". I think this is the route where you get Twisted Sword, from a combination of aborted Snowgrave and the Pure Crystal (maybe from last ShadowCrystal boss). (YOU) and Kris collaborate to break the Prophecy, light and dark, to break your strings, to find a different ending that saves both Susie and Noelle. They both live happily, and either Kris is sacrificed instead, or much like the Normal End, you ultimately relinquish control to Kris to save all. The only flaw with this that I'd see, is people would probably be pissed at Toby for locking the best ending around something that could take an asinine level of backtracking. Maybe this is just a short epilogue that activates upon having both a completed Normal and Weird savefile.

Both bosses working together and representing their own halves.

I know a guy who played chapter 3, then replayed it to get all the secrets + beat knight since he missed it the first time through, and now he’s on chapter 4 and he’s about 75% of the way through. He’s got a shit ton of hours already as well, he might’ve replayed chapter 1-2 to start for his saves.

I've never played Undertale nor Deltarune with anything in mind other than a pacifist playthrough. I can't really bring myself to kill anything since all the characters that you do fight are cute or if they aren't, they are more entertaining to go through the motions of sparing them.

There's the sword (might be a red herring again, because it kinda looks like a bat during the chapter 3 fight with the Knight) on the ground floor, there are swords used in Knight's dark world movesets (sword corridor, the sword circle etc.) and the shurikens would be the exploding stars. I agree it's ambiguous when it comes to her sudden presence at church back and forth.
