what do you like using on wylder? been trying to understand what options i can take for his builds, but having trouble doing anything beside knight gs + 2h buff

In my humble opinion, night bosses with two or even three enemies are far superior to single bosses. Future night bosses should be ripped from gank fights and field bosses should be single boss fights or single bosses should have other things added like Atorias having sif join his fight

Playing Raider feels like ass.
The totem is okay but the character skill feels useless because it's too slow and the range is too short.
And when you are actually able to use it's powered up version, it gets even slower.
It feels useless against the nightlords I fought.
How the fuck do you use him? Else I'm going back to using Wylder because at least the hook has insane mobility with the slate stobe relic.

i always 2hand. pretty much heavy weapons of every category. i got bored of his fire attack greatsword relic so i just mix it up. my gameplan is always to find a weapon w/ the boss weakness but if i get something great i will just switch to that. i mostly avoided weapon arts in elden ring but they are super good here, so experiment. the watchdog staff weapon art for example can melt stuff fast. if you dont have aggro you just spam it and it homes in. plus the weapon has good damage. i never used it in the base game because i never leveled INT

I have two bosses left.

I have beaten even the final boss but I haven't beaten the frozen lizard and mad goat.
Why do these bosses always depend on status effects?
Anyway does frost also scale with arcane?
