the card itself is whatever, especially when it came out. the thing is now, any easily accessible and generic milling options boost the consistency of already super consistent decks to absurd degrees. if the millennium engine took a big hit, people would fill the slot with fiendsmith and pilgrim reaper instead.
maybe zombie vampire still deserves a hit in todays meta, i dunno. but i think the real root problem is just that everyone is sick to death of snake eye and that millennium/vampire just happens to boost it's consistency and gives them more gas.

If MD decides to follow the OCG and limit Tract and Engraver, Fiendsmith will fall off hard and Cryston will be good for longer time.
Ryzeal is better than Maliss, but Ryzeal also gets hit and falls off.

The meta is also not well balanced because they nerfed a lot of stuff from the old game(DShift is fucking killed) while leaving other classes(namely aggro Swordcraft) untouched.

Personally I think the negative reviews aren't doing the game justice, it's not bad beyond the gacha. But a gacha game with a bad gacha can't survive without a strong established IP or Genshin levels of marketing.

In my opinion, Konami should flag a player if their opponents disconnect multiple times in ranked matches, and then start investigating the player after a certain amount to detect tampering/cheating.

for Cyberdark specifically, it'd appreciate some of its other extra deck options, like Seiger, the Chimeratech stuff, Eternity, etc. but it has basically all of the main deck things, might want to craft a Nachter? biggest issue is Cyberdark itself is not that great right now, but it's probably playable
for Cyber Dragon itself, there's a bit more to account for, there's the two Xyz ones (one of them's an R at least) and will probably appreciate some out of archetype tools as well like Machine Duplication, Regulus, Disablaster, etc., so I'd say that's a bit more expensive but you can still OTK people with it pretty well if you play it good enough

i wouldn't say "crazy". but at this point it probably is a decent blow to SE. it seems like konami's plan for dealing with SE in MD is slowly chocking their consistency and follow up.
but i dunno if this is really gonna stop it. they're hitting the consistency, but the combo and endboard is still literally the exact same. so theoretically they could still open diabell+maxx c negate and it's like nothing happened.
i also just think that people will figure out some new consistency option that they didn't think of. just like the millennium option came out of nowhere for most people, something new will probably come out and then SE will be on top again

Nah, that's not true, most decks that run the package run 3 Golem/ 3 Sengen/ 1 Wedju.
If you want to still use the package and make it consistent, you will have to use 3 Sengen /1 Golem / 2 or 3 Wedju, and that sounds awful, you can brick with the Wedjus, and the Wedju start is worse, Wedju doesn't provide you with Rank 8 and a body. You either get the rank 8 or a level 6 and an 8 for Moon.

1 Golem 3 Wedju only sounds good if you're playing Exodia, and I guess this is what the intention with this hit.

As someone who consneeded every time a snake-eye card hit the field (i genuinely don't want to watch the deck masturbate for 30 minutes, get negated to shit on my turn, then watch them masturbate AGAIN instead of just swinging for lethal, just once was enough for me to not even bother if my hand was shit), someone tell me what exactly did the deck lose with oak's ban, and what kinds of cope cards will they run after the banlist (assuming people even bother with the deck anymore, i don't know how crippling the hit is).

The only card i care about in that deck is diabellstar, both because she's hot and because she'll be able to turn into dark magician of destruction, who searches gaze of timaeus, which cheats out dragoon or that new fusion that is more or less a shitty tornado dragon (only works in the opponent's turn).

You don't just want the bodies, you want the backrow too, since one + something like an equiped requiem = doomed dragon.
Sengenjin can also search itself, while golem can only search the temple - which you don't want as your starter because of the doomed dragon thing and general vulnerability

Sengenjin starter = get and summon golem, get temple, place one from hand and one from deck, now you've got backrow mats for doomed dragon or OSS

Golem starter = get temple, place one from hand and sengenjin from deck, summon sengenjin search semgenjin, now you've got backrow mats for doomed dragon or OSS (but he's less swole than sengenjin is and can't search if you drew temple)

Temple starter = place one from hand and sengenjin from deck, sengenjin searches golem, golem summons but gets no search.
