It always annoyed me, that one could never get a proper poison deck going in the BN games - I loved Geddon3, Anubis, and the like, but the hoops one had to jump through to make it 'viable' just wasn't worth the effort; it didn't help that come BN4, Anubis ended up as dark-mega only, so you have a mediocre chip gated behind a detrimental playstyle. ElemDark was one of the few swamp-synergy chips introduced, but that was ALSO locked behind shitty dark chips.
Effectively, a poison build just ends up with you building around Poison Pharaoh, but deckbuilding around a singular PA is lame.
