Maybe you can't reach the top because you can't craft every new meta deck but it should still be perfectly playable at whatever level is appropriate for you.

Is it normal to eat shit non-stop in Ranked? New to this game, and I am only Beginner 1. I have lost all my matches so far, and one of them was due to fumbling the evolve mechanic and using it on a shitter instead of my legendary 8-drop. So I do have a shitload of room for improvement. It's just that no other TCG I have played ever felt so one-sided as this one to me. Playing TCG it always felt more even, while here it's like I am constantly on the defense against some motherfucker perfect curving me on top of having the right counters.

I am playing Portal-Craft due tot he cute girls in that faction, and my deck for all intent and purposes should be fine I think? My guess is that I am terrible at piloting it + just terrible at this game and it's mechanics. It's been really fucking rough ngl

I think portal is quite easy actually the biggest hurdle is knowing what to fuse in each matchup this comes with time and experience. Biggest tip I can give you is to not tunnel vision on the Gundam since you can win multiple ways like burning them to death with beta, setting up a board they can't clear or just out resourcing them. Each wincon depends on the game state if you play artifact long enough you'll know what to do.

I suggest cutting Divine thunder and seraphic tidings and put the 1/1 or 2/2 gear generator whichever is it that you don't run in their place since you can never have enough gear generators.

Give it time, you need to be familiar with what the other decks' gameplans. What board they want to make, what board they can or can't answer, when they're gonna push lethal, etc.

Artifact has tools for a flexible gameplan, you can go aggro and spam face damage, win with value in the midgame with the artifact cheating cards, or play control and win with the 10pp gundam. For now just play more and get a better feel of when or what to evolve. Good luck anon.

Why do I torture myself playing Haven? Every game is a struggle to do anything. Basically all I can do is play wards and sorta heal and hope my opponent runs out of cards.
