Personally I prefer Quasar + Portable Hellbomb. Being able to one-tap Hulks and Katyushas is enough for me, since Annihilators rarely pose an actual threat and turret towers can be maneuvered around or just two-shot at leisure since they don't move. Infinite ammo and not being tied down by an ammo backpack is super handy, and the Portable Hellbomb lets me quickly kill Gunship Facilities and Stratagem Jammers on top of maiming Bot Drops.

Diligence is a top pick on bots honestly. Unmodded it has a very good scope, amazing ergo, low recoil, decent magdump ability, pinpoint accuracy, and high mag capacity. You just pop dev heads all day long with it, and if you git gud you can even pop zerker heads. 1-taps troopers most of the time, easily pops chicken rockets, and if a Hulk is retardo-locked on something you can even magdump the back for a quick kill.

AC sentry is a personal choice I just like it over the rockets. 120 is good, but the low shell damage can let you down sometimes. You get bigger "fuck this entire base" and "oh fuck that's a lot of bots in that drop" power with the 380.

Some other game I played forever had some glitch where you could get hit multiple times by one bullet and die instantly. Every enemy could just instantly kill you if you weren't careful to not get shot in the first place. Everyone thought it was headshots or critical hits but the devs confirmed neither of those were a thing. It suited that game but it was a glitch and when it eventually got fixed basically all of the tension of just walking through areas was gone. That game though the cost of death was way higher. You only got one life and had to corpse run to get your stuff back and the stuff you did have would cost several missions worth of stuff to even buy in the first place.
As for helldivers you get 5 lives which regenerate and drop in with all your stuff except for your support weapons/backpack which only has a few minute cooldown. There's not really any consequence to dying. You can even finish a mission and die without extracting and still be successful. At best the only reason to care about dying to bullshit is if you have an english username and are playing with the chinese because they won't reinforce you. Even then it's just a longer waiting period until the game resumes.

It is indeed. That's why missions have 20 reinforcement as baseline. People just get irrationally upset if they die even if it is expected due to bad luck or getting overwhelmed. Also, all of the "bullshit one shot" are usually preventable or mitigated because they usually come from slow enemies or slow attack. Games have so much tools to bail you out too. Diff 10 should be designed around squeezing all of those reinforcement to the limit. People don't want to tanky enemies but people also don't want enemies to have too dangerous attack. If enemies have no chance of one hit or combo you to death, you can just stim and escape in most situations, especially with the stim booster.

Nah. Arc Thrower and Guard Dog clean up any chaff, leaving commando for heavies. The fun tech of this loadout is stunning hulks with the arc Thrower and seeing if I can land the shell of the OPS on them for quick kills. Tanks can usually "tank" a OPS shell but can get finished by a commando shot or similar follow up. The OPS is objectively shit but it is good for objective clear and annoying structure removal. It's also fun to see if I can 1-tap tower turrets by trying to align the trajectory of the OPS to hit it from the correct side.

Slugger is flavor for stuns and trying to tap heads. Dagger for sweeping groups of troops if I don't wanna arc em. It's a dumb loadout but I like it.

Your mission is to board an automaton nanite ship and destroy its central core to disable it. The mission is a series of tight corridors, and you're able to call in hellpods, but the hole made by the pods gets closed up by the fast-repairing nanites (which explains why it can't be destroyed via normal weapons).

bugs: like 3 breaches per side per launch with less than half a dozen enemies each, maybe 3 heavies the entire time, actual AFK snorefest
bots: 3 to 4 dropships per side that are often full, typically 1 to 2 tanks and 2 to 3 hulks in each drop, always a factory strider every other drop, pretty chill if you take out the big threats first, but bots can snowball if you actually go afk like you can with bugs
squids: dozens of voteless, overseers, and fleshmobs with every drop, harvesters coming in packs of 3, flying overseer cunts hovering 100 meters in the air coming over the walls raining grenades on you and going after the generators, stingrays making sudden runs on your sentry/emplacement line wrecking all your defences. can hold them at the gates sure but snowball potential is much higher and you actually have to fight instead of letting your turrets do all the work

Guys i think im reaching a breaking point with this game.
I have never had this much of a fucking back and forth with these devs were im trying to have fun with this game but they constantly seem to want me to NOT hav fun with this game.
I have been trying for the last 4 hours to jsut get a single fucking game wiht out some random fucking bullshit happening and i cant.
>Getting rag dolled constantly by leviathen to the point i cant even get up to run away
>Randomly got blasted by an elevated overseer in the back that literally was not there until i turned away and just appeared outta thin air.

>Getting inconsistant knock backs on bugs that is sending me into the fucking stratosphere.
>Eruptor is firing before the reload animation resets causing shots to go wild along with the ricochet angle seeming to be increased for reasons.

I just, fuck man. I really try to have fun and enjoy this game but I swear to God arrowhead seems hell bend on doing everything in their power to make me not have fun. I'm just so God damn tired at this point.

Every single mission now feels like a struggle to just play, but what frustrates me is that it was not this bad before, it just keeps getting worse. For me the thing I'm losing my patience over is the constant spawning in of enemies in locations there were none not but a second ago. It's at the point I can't even attempt to engage thing because I'm getting jumped.
Unless thing change, and unless the next warbond really interests me or they do something interesting in the game, I'm going to enjoy the 100+gb of free space
