Everytime I face portal the guys get to make the gundam. This time I could have maybe won because I wasn't in lethal range and could have removed it if I survived, and miscalculated removing what was already on the board, but I still feel it's really easy for them to hit. 1. Any board you build on turn 4 when going first is gonna get cleared by their evolve anyway. If you can mostly clear their board or they are rune/dragon and did some gay ramp/long term empty board shit on that turn it's free
2. It usually sticks around long enough to buff Jeno's tokens or you can do the Luminous Magus meme board that still dies to 3 AoEs
3. If you get into one of those weird top deck offs late game it sometimes makes a difference for trading favorably or getting Albert lethal where he otherwise didn't have it.

I wish I had taken a screenshot of the Lucky chest animation but alas, I was not able to. I also apologize if this was a known feature but all the media I consumed made it sound different.
From a lot of the information that I have seen online, the Lucky chest feature was advertised as you spend 250 points to get a random reward from the pool or 350 to guarantee the reward that you want.
What I fail to see anyone mention is that The reward you will receive from the lucky chest is shown before you choose to spend the points.
As soon as you hit 250, the lucky chest animation plays, and in my instance, I opened a Cerberus exchange ticket. It then brought me to a page where it gave me two options: to either redeem 250 points for a Cerberus ticket or pass and save up 350 for a guarantee.
As much as the state of the economy is in shambles and I am certainly part of the problem, I do want to give Cygames credit here as this version of the system will eliminate A ton of feels bad Gotcha game style mechanics

You can see when the opponent is in overflow, and once you learn the meta you'll known which cards can be affected by it and what to prepare for. The same way swordfags can Enhance their card. If you have 9pp I know you can Enhance Albert. There's nothing funky going on.
Same with Abyss. You can see their graveyard. You can see their necro counter. There's no hidden information.
Spellboosts are dishonest because it's impossible to know which cards have been spellboosted how many times.
If there was a 1-1 physical card game adaptation of Shadowverse (there is a physical card game but it's not 1-1), you would be able to have Amulets, Engage, Overflow and all those mechanics be trackable. It's easy to track because it's all open information. You CANNOT adapt Spellboost in a physical game, because you'd have to blindly trust the opponent about how many time each card has been spellboosted.

At that cost range the enemy is already starting to pop off, his hand has to be completely bricked to be able to just toss that out.

I want alternate wincons like how Havencraft that Seraph Amulet that would kill after 3 turns or like Super Bahamuts deck-banish thing. COC is somewhat close but he doesnt fit into every craft.
on a side note I kinda feel like the Super Evolve mechanic is wasted potential. I dont know what the point of the random 1 chip damage is (kinda busted on multi-attackers I guess) and the psuedo-immunity isnt very intuitive (I had no idea I could use kill spells on my own super evolves and they wouldnt die). its also weird how creatures only get an ability when they normal evolve and not when they super evolve.
