I'm genuinely wondering if the whole "Main DPS enabled by sub-dps provided DoTs" is Kuro's method of throttling powercreep. I mean, on the one hand, it works; it keeps older characters relevant and pulls them up into the meta if their carry is strong enough. On the other hand, it's also a BITCH for teambuilding. There's also the argument to be made that its only there to be predatory and convince you to roll for multiple characters so the carry can be as strong as possible. I think it works in terms of throttling powercreep, but that seems more like a bonus rather than a goal.
