HELLDIVERS 2 is a 2024 co-op, squad-based, PvE 3rd person shooter for PC and PS5 where players fight against hordes of alien insects, robots and squids to Spread Democracy. Players wage war on a number of contested planets, each with a different environment, completing as many objectives as possible within a procedurally generated area while constrained by a time limit. The Incel Corps (RIP) Hulks actually do a great job at that, lobbing both fire grenades at you that make your cover unpleasant to be in, then coming in with a flamethrower.
The incel bots throw incendiary grenades doing the same thing, but bots dont abuse grenades as much as they should.

People that spend too much time on one thing, whether it be a video game, a project or a hobby, tend to end up in a severe case of coming up with reasons (cope) as to why they're going the "extra mile" by making a number go up, because they have few if any justifications to stay around.

D10 is the highest number, the "hardest" difficulty, the top shit. You dont want to be seen as a shitter, right? You dont want people to make fun of you on the internet, right?
The only interesting part about D10 are the super outposts (except squids lol), and thats it. Everything else plays the same, aside from maybe heavier emphasis on heavy units.

Back when D10 wasnt a thing, there was barely any change between D8 and D9, but people flogged to D9 because "well it would have more enemies", and now the only obvious changes between D7 and D8 are some of the units changing to be more 'difficult' (AKA the scout striders are now easier to kill because 4 weakspots that can be shot from the front with even a Peacemaker), with D8 and D9 differences being...one extra bug breach / dropship?

They're heavy. Weak to shots from behind but they move too fast for you to get a chance to shoot that if they're chasing you.
They spawn pretty frequently at higher difficulties, but they're very easy to dodge. Lotta sweeping patterns you can hit z to drop under.

Like others said, your best bet is bringing a support weapon that says it has heavy penetration in the description.
Aim for the eye to save time, and if you've got ems or stun grenades use em. Gas strike works too.

Recoilless Rifle or EATs for telling big bots to fuck off (the latter get better with upgrades, down to ~1 min cd).
Democratic Demolition is probably the most loaded warbond if you're looking for recommendations. Do have a look at the others, every warbond comes with at least 1 fun and/or useful toy. People sometimes host SC farming lobbies if you don't want to pay, but you did miss the game's easiest farm yet (bug city missions).
The base-game stuff is more than solid for everything.

Drum mags are good with the muzzle break (think that's the name) where it needs to warm up with bullets before the recoil starts to laser in.

Compensator short mags gives you good ergo which lets you head pop like crazy. I usually just burst fire. Lotta fun when you get into the rhythm.

Eruptor is fine on bots, it basically replaces a stratagem weapon like EAT or QC, just use the stalwart, mmg, or LC with it instead. Recently it seems like you need to shoot slower with it, and even with all attachments for ergo it's still around 35, so not great for zerkers running around corners but that's not what it's for anyway. If there's a congo line of shield dudes aim for the back one and let the shrapnel hit the guys in front. I think it's like a 2 shot on striders and there's a ton of RNG with shooting between the legs on those, or armpits on other bot units. It's borderline OP but the niche it fills is inherently either OP or worthless. Purifier feels fine tho, you can still occasionally blow yourself up if you're prone or near a wall so it's not perfect and the ammo economy isn't great if you're using it rapidfire, although it feels like a straight upgrade to the scorcher for sure.

I think the huk fire is fair-ish. Bruiser huk only have close range attack and if you let it get that close without killing, stunning, or even at least take out the flamethrower arm, you kinda deserve to die. I think insta-kill rocket/explosion is mostly due to the rag doll collision damage. I think the overall explosion damage was fair and you only get killed by a direct hit, which should be up to you to avoid.

The actual answer is that AI have a passive, alert, and active state. During the passive state AI isn't allowed to send or receive information from the director (And by proxy, other units). What happened was that they got close enough to trigger a transition from their passive state to alert but didn't trip enough flags to go from alert to active because you went prone which reduced your visibility to them. However during an alert state they're able to share information with the director and the director had spotted the other player in the game. So the director essentially told them "Hey I don't see anything over there right now but I see a guy over here, come get him"

More ergo lets you aim faster because low ergo hard caps how fast your character moves his weapon. More mag size lets you shoot more before having to reload. Diligence gets 10 more bullets per mag and two extra mags. That's an entire extra patrol worth of devs you can headshot before reloading and enough extra mags to kill multiple patrols.

a rework of stasis field, "spammable" maybe 50 seconds, long term area denial maybe 30 to 40 seconds and stun, effects everything but titans and factory striders.

the reason for spammability is because the current meta only rewards complete destruction of a target,
and gas is superior to the stun because it effectively already stuns and does insane damage,
and you can just take stun grenades for that same reason.

so if youre in a situation where there are multiple vectors where youre being attacked one less vector

Our primaries catalogue is well into bloat territory. As for secondaries it feels like we already have most sidearm archetypes. It's not clever to add ever more guns that have no wow factor that elevates them from what already is in the game. Attachments on the other hand are easy to hype, everyone wants more of them, and they could go all swedish about it making sure most attachments are extra powerful when combined with guns or attachments from other warbods.

The four liberators have unique models, LibPen is more obvious than others. If you put ammunition in customization each of those guns could be changed to be distinct with any ammo type. Carbine already shoots very fast, could have bad recoil which would mean it'd be impossible to shoot penetrator ammo accurately, and LibPen could be the heavy version with slower fire rate but also much lower base recoil, so you can shoot anything out of it accurately.

I love the Eagle Mine Layer ideas, the current mine distribution system is okay for open areas but feel like the city streets are more suited to a straight line of mines.
My idea is the Orbital AC130 Gunner. You die, but for about a minute you get to control Orbital Gatling Guns, the Destroyer Cannon, and Gas/EMS Strikes. “Balanced” by you only get to use once a mission and your Destroyer leaves mission area after use to “resupply munitions”.
But it’s probably too overpowered. Blitz missions could be beaten instantly.
Maybe a Pelican Gunner would be more balanced, instead of the Orbital Stuff you just get the Autocannon and a Gatling Gun as it circles an area.
