Speaking of, the Last of Us 2 rogue lite mode (it's amazing fun btw) pulled the same shit. I'm pretty sure they just jury-rigged Abby's animations into Joel and other male playable characters in this mode. It's funny seeing Joel sprint around with female gait.
Naughty Dawg is more justified though, the animation sets in TLoU2 are crazy complex.

was able to finish 4-5 games and currently about to start BioShock.

TM Moss booby armor is not that different from the male counterpart, it's the same model, but they warped mesh for the female model. Even folds are identical.
D1 had a bit more nuanced approach, female armour had a different undersuit, so they had to basically staple the same parts on a female body, but with slight differences in placement etc., to conform to shape.

Looking back over the last few "episodes" there was some good stuff but it was often a small part of the larger ep.

The good:
The episodic Battlegrounds were all fun. It was like getting surprised with three strikes out of nowhere. I also liked how the stories of the battle-strikes were interconnected. No notes I enjoyed playing them. Keep up the good work. The Nether was pure kino. At first I thought I was going to hate it but soon as I got a handle on healing I played that shit for weeks chasing rolls on guns they'll have to pry from my cold dead hands. The best seasonal activity ever. I'm right, deal with it.


The bad:
The boss rush modes they did were alright. Needs tweaking IMHO. I think I liked the Guardian Games version a bit better because the encounters were more varied and fun. If you did not randomly get some cancer laced encounter calling for prismatic or strand randomly in the middle of it. Court of Blades has this roguelike element and I still don't think Bungie quite gets the point of rogues because I never noticed the buffs they put in the game. Tomb of Elders- not bad. Best I can do. 6/10, apply yourself. It needed more spice. Maybe banes? Friendly AI? Brigs?


The ugly:
Finally the biggest fail of the episodes: I did not care for the exotic missions. Not one. I ran them once to get the gun. Left the catalysts where they are, up the ass of some random Vex or Taken I imagine. The guns were amazing. Well the special auto and shotgun were amazing that smg is like a retarded version of Osteo Striga for people still running dedicated strand in 2025 for some reason. I'm still using Quicksilver. Nerf it again I don't give a shit. Then they wanted you to do them over and over again. I noped out immediately and now I can only hope they remembered how to make shit fun not just repetitive. Rite of the Nine gets a mention here just so you know I'm done writing.

An ass kicking is in order for how the Barrow Dyad catalyst was handled. Even just finding the random portal, you could conceivably waste hours reloading in and out not finding it. Ok fine so it wasn't Encore levels of dull re-running the mission, and then getting each little puzzle wing+a collectibles run. Iron Banner has its own separate set of weekly challenges so it doesn't count towards the 'play 3 ritual crucible matches to get an exotic' milestone, and thus does not advance the weekly challenge requiring you to complete weekly ritual milestones. At the same time it is a ritual activity that counts things like 'X kills with Y in ritual actiities with bonus progress against Guardians', therefore Iron Banner is both a ritual activity and not a ritual activity. Two days of IB this weekend, and I have seen all sorts of weird bullshit. Players with post-BL noob light emblems, low guardian rank, low light on gear and miraculously perfect accuracy with hand cannons. People with slow-ass connections (either net limiter or just in a fireteam halfway across world) who can run and shoot 3 seconds with an empty health bar so they always manage to kill you even if they fall over a second later. I saw a net-limiting asshole who did it in a very obvious way, I ran into cover behind a wall, spent several seconds just running along that wall, then I suddenly fell over dead, and my corpse was literally dragged by rubberbanding 20-something meters back along the ground to the beginning of that wall cover. I was so surprised I didn't even think so record that shit.

Matchmaking can be really wild. This is especially painful when you know you are not a good pvp player, you check the tables mid-match where your team gets rolfstomped, and you realize you are currently the best player of your entire fireteam. Or when you get a decent team in Control, you have a lead of around 30-40 points, then closer to 120 your fireteam suddenly loses high brain functions and stops capturing zones, which can result in a stupid loss of 150-149 just because your team wasn't able to capture the second zone, or the enemy successfully started a hunt straight at the end of the match you could have easily won. One of the most idiotic wins I had today was on Multiplex, it was a very close match, both teams couldn't get a good lead in points, the match was about to end, with 10 seconds left, the score was 141-141. I respawned in the middle of nowhere near an enemy zone, while both teams were running somewhere else like chickens. I happened to capture the zone 1 second before the match ended, and my team won, 142-141.

Cirrus Plaza sucks because it's just way too many cubbies and the only open space is the center strip with very little playable space on it or reason to take much fights in the open. Dissonance sucks because there's such clutter where the only places to have a "normal" fight is in the thin bits of narrow open space. The Europa map is not the worst outdoors, interior section is a mess.

Or in short I hate how there's not really any true real flanking, no 3D verticality, multiple ways to take a fight, everything is just shoved into hard right angled boxes. I think why Javelin is such a favorite is because there's open curves, the cliff side has decent cover placement, the halls aren't a total death sentence and you have something to cover you if you gotta back off. Not too cramped of ceilings either.

Yep Cirrus Plaza has the reverse problem of Dead Cliffs. If your team keeps trying to snake through the hallways and play the game like normal to cap A/C as you hold either, it'll start spawning your allies closer to enemy spawns only isolating them by a hall way cubby that's easy to rush towards and thus you're effectively punishing people by doing "the right thing". It's the most ass backwards poorly designed shit that 6s for Cirrus, you're basically better off backpedalling if you're 1-2 people capping because you could be sending dead teammates closer to enemy positions. Retribution/the old big donut map you had least had the chambers off the ring to keep you not in the thick of the ring halls, but Cirrus yeah it's a mess.

I also hate Multiplex where B is the only open space, there's not a ton of meaningful cover placement, you can just fuck off down these long halls that can have you get ass blasted, that connect into even more chokepoint death zones, and A and C are horrible to defend try to make any plays there. All the unused space that snakes back into B is also pointless as well. Bungie sucks at design

Presage is easily the most annoying exotic mission. Annoying enemies and encounters I can tolerate but mazes and puzzles make me want to kill myself.

How will dungeon and raid weapons and armor be handled each expansion? Are they going to be included to get the 15% increased DR and be able to be enhanced or boosted to a higher tier? Dungeons especially are notoriously hard to grind for, I don’t see people want to regrind them every 6 months. I think Bungie's banking on a lot of people thinking oh well I can crank difficulty of this old story mission to insanity mode, to chase the better loot and have end game best in slot builds be put to the test in more content, but fail to realize that chances are there's only going to be very specific things that are worth running on the harder difficulty because nobody wants to go back to arduous watchable GMs that took forever and there was no loot incentive, rewards payout wasn't worth it. That's the whole scam, Bungie's letting everybody down with the "we're going to smaller DLC and adding replayability that's fun and exciting", but really it's just more shameless padding for the experience. It's specifically why they made the caveat of "you can play PVP to max level if you want" because they know the already lower pop red minigame crowd wouldn't want to be going through even more boring motions to level their shit up. If nubingie ever announces a D3, we're never getting a Destiny remaster or the unvaulting of D2's lost content. If nubungie ever announces they're unvaulting all of D2, and making all lost seasonal vendors and activities available, we won't get a D3 for at least two years after that. Destiny remastered would be a brand new game for PC, and even dropped all at once, it has a good year worth of playability. D2 unvaulting is the same, there'd be way too mich content available, and it would cut D3 sales down to nothing.
