How do I deal with bulwark/crusher trains as zealot? Assuming no bolter spray.

Bolter spray is bad against both of those. With bulwarks you pretty much use flamer, or stay in melee range so they open their shield to attack. With crushers it's much like fighting mauler packs but being overheaded is an instant down.

It gives you a grand total of one extra swing before maxing the overheat and a 10% faster cooldown. Either of them is fine to dump depending on what you want, personally I prefer max mobility because the dodges are even more ass otherwise.

Do you have a controller with back buttons? It’s actually a really comfortable way to play the game, I hurt my arm and wasn’t able to use my keyboard very well and gave controller a try and after getting used to it I was able to clear havok 40s. The aim assist is so strong that your accuracy is about on par with mouse at close to mid range, just crank the sensitivity up. You’ve got to learn how to dodge, it’s as important as swinging your weapon.

If you listen to the martyr skull voice bits and then the morrow's story, you realize that Wolfer going traitor is pretty standard for Imperium, especially guard.
The war on Nox Alpha was horrible war of attrition which was just a slow meat grinder, which just grinds down all morale turning the trenches into a living hell.
And this over time causes the regiment to fall to despair and become disillusioned by the war and even in their faith to the Emperor and then they become corrupted by Chaos.

Well he does have a tank named after him, and presumably Imperial history has some basic info about him like how he was the Emperor's right hand and basically ran the entire civilian side of the Imperium, but nothing more beyond the surface. It doesn't help that most of Malcador's lore is in the Horus Heresy and there's very little Arbites lore in general, so Darktide's Arbites characterization might well shape future Arbites lore.

Low havocs are populated with drooling retards, and my general expectation of a psyker is to be the party's anchor, in the sense that you have to drag the fucker across the ground with all your might because he's busy hugging it most of the time. Even smiggers are unironically more effective than the average psyker. There is a humongous skill gap between players who did true survivor with randos, and those that did it with premades in voice chat. It also plays a lot differently. In havoc, teams stay together, while in auric, everyone is likely off doing their own shit. It's possible to spoon feed any semi-competent player a good build on an easy class and then shepherd them with voice comms and get true survivor like that. Bonus points if that player is on zealot so they get a second life every two minutes while sitting back pissing out toughness and flames instead of ever engaging in melee.

Heroic Deeds from VT2 in Darktide. It was always agreed by everyone that putting mission modifiers into a separate gamemode which has no quickplay and demands a premade party was retarded waste. I started winning games way more when I told myself that I just need to focus on killing specials ASAP and use resources (frags, VoC) to do this. Doesn't matter, run back and defend, hope for teammates to take aggro and snipe specialists AS you run from it, and only bother to fight it yourself when the coast is clear. I see a fuckload of terrible zealots thougheverbeit. Chorus should be used aggressively to push into balls of gunners while side-sliding, which is a skill that most zealots don't even possess. Most zealots don't run enough cooldown reduction to truly spam chorus either. Many are too afraid to use it early into a fight to keep enemies confined in a good location because they're so obsessed with using it as an emergency bail, not realizing that letting a situation escalate that far in the first place is what loses them runs. Most zealots are also trying to giga cope that they're not a support class and try to build into melee damage and toughness, instead of the superior health build with martyr's purpose for absolutely retarded amounts of chorus spam. Supportcuck zealot has given me the easiest runs ever, but whenever I'm not on zealot, the zealot player doesn't do their job correctly.

It's impossible to fuck up in the sense that you generally have less to worry about than everyone else. The basics still apply, you need to dodge disablers and overheads and stick with the team, etc., some people are just extremely shit at that and go down as a result. Ogryn also technically isn't invincible either, you do still need your team to do their fucking jobs, i.e. using gold toughness TO keep you invincible with the retarded amounts of toughness regen you have. You also need your team to deal damage, there's only so much an ogryn can do. I've played a good handful of ogryn games in h40 last week, and often found myself wondering why the fuck nothing is dying. Turns out my team wasn't doing enough damage to kill resistant + regen enemies because of situations like the psyker and veteran being too dumb to stack up uncanny, and the zealot trying to cope with being a melee damage class but not killing anything fast enough when he should instead just be burning everything to a crisp.

Rumbler doesn't deal relevant boss damage without building too heavily into it to still have a good build. Anything except beast of nurgle should be trivialized by forcing it to attack you with taunt, and then either using your autism strength with club to generate more toughness than it can possibly hope to damage, or occasionally blocking (and very rarely, but yes, planting) with the shield. With club, you're dealing stupid amounts of damage, and with both club and shield IF ZEALOT IS DOING THEIR FUCKING JOB REEEEEEEE, skullcrusher works while the boss is chorus staggered for everyone else to deal massive damage to without even spending any ammo.
Beast of nurgle is obviously a pain in the ass, but that's not your job. Psyker bubble should trivialize it, and if you're in an absolutely terrible position and the map doesn't allow anything better (think clandestium start), the zealot should be dumping all of their flamer ammo into it just so you don't wipe.

That's the thing >though, Rumbler is strong enough that building into it with Lucky Bullet is a very reliable strat. There's not much more to ask for from a gun than the great boss damage and crowd clear that the Rumbler can provide, except maybe better specialist targeting, which it can already do to a satisfactory degree. A lot of Ogryn melees are strong enough that you don't need to build into Heavy Hitter, and Ogryn gets enough damage reduction without building into Feel No Pain.

The only reason you're building into BLO is for back off! giving it usable ammo economy (though ofc the cooldown reduction helps a good bit, and makes taunt damage amp a lot more usable). Which is to say, you're investing a lot of points into making a gun usable in havoc in the first place, which feels bad to me. You're also seriously hurting your ability to kill far away targets, which I GET shouldn't be your job, but it inevitably becomes your job when your veteran is retarded and/or dead.
I won't deny that the rumbler is good overall, especially with BLO, but I still think it makes for a worse build overall, and I do not consider its boss damage to be relevant when bosses shouldn't be a problem with a good build. You still need to get a lot of kills, which sounds trivial, but isn't so easy anymore when there's a ball of a couple dozen armored regenerating enemies that simply won't fucking die. BLO is barely even usable in such a terrible situation, which seriously turns me off from it.

I actually think BLO rumbler is interesting and probably good with an actually good team, but man, I wouldn't want to use it with retarded randos when I can't even trust my vet to shoot the gunners popping our cuck bubbles within seconds every time.

Kickback 1 shots specials with run n gun at 30m, if enemy is beyond that it is not your problem.
Carapace is a meme and it doesn't matter due to using melee to deal with it And range hardly matters due to most specials just run towards you which solves the range problem Stubber is only more consistent at killing snipers due to the aforementioned range. But snipers are incredibly easy to deal with just slide behind a wall.

It's what I do in havoc and aurics, I intentionally hold onto a red stim and once boss arrives I inject the stim and then taunt the boss. It deals with them very fast.

Also if you run out of ammo, that's a skill issue and only happens because you're retarded. It's obviously a somewhat ammo hungry way to play, but you can just choose not to shoot when your ammo drops below 50%. You still get a fucking pickaxe.

This is going to sound really retarded and autistic, but I dump crit bonus. I don't think it even affects any breakpoints if you also put maniacs on it.
My main reason is that I'd rather get another 1-2 charged shots off before having to quell, and being able to fire more lightning per quelling break, because it still stuns good regardless of critting. The stun is a major component of why I use the staff, so I like 80 warp res, and 80 quell speed is basically mandatory anyway.
I don't remember what the EXACT breakpoints are for fully charged crits, but I've stopped using it that way. Half the time I unleash only half charged lightning because I need to lock something down.

Does Perilous Combustion stack with Wildfire?
PC says when killing an elite or special it applies 3 stacks of soulblaze to nearby enemies. While WF says if an enemy affected by soulblaze dies it applies up to 4 stacks of soulblaze to enemies surrounding it, but they can't gain more stacks than the dying enemy had.

So if I kill a trapper in midst of a horde, does that mean it applies 6 stacks of soulblaze onto everything around it? Or is it only going to add 4?

I wanted a class that lets me be unga bunga ogre retard. Pre-patch ogryn was just a shittier vet/zealot that was a jack of all trades tardo with terribly mobility that didn't really excell at anything well enough. If other classes were S tier, ogryn at best was A tier or B tier at worst.

I had fun playing ogryn before the buffs, and I also have fun playing him now. He's absolutely in a better state than he's ever been, but the handful of overtuned builds are just retarded outside of high havoc. Not that I'm going to complain about having an ogryn in the team.

Somehow I never brought my vet to Aurics, despite him being my first character, but now I fucking understand why people call him the weakest class. Something like this is relatively standard and takes all of the crutch nodes. You can skip thy wrath be swift if you don't want to handicap yourself by learning to rely on it too much.
You could crutch even more with a health build using chorus + martyr's purpose, but it's good practice getting used to FotF first. You could also pick up the master's retribution (bottom left) for another crutch, since it can knock hounds off you.
Knives are very good, so I suggest practicing with them. Lets you animation cancel the bolter swap animation, so feel free to run bolter with it for sniping purposes. Otherwise, revolver or bolt pistol are both very strong.
Relic blade is basically the premier horde clearing option. Wrath blessing is a given, second one is personal preference. I like being able to horde clear without charging it, so I use rampage.

You can't change the blessings, but you can change the perks. So you need to find one with the highest level blessing you want then just shift the perks to whatever you want

You can't in any way affect the base stats on a curio. You can can receive them as mission rewards (and increase your odds by running curio chance on curios, but it's kinda shit), buy them from brunt's shop, and buy or gamble them from Melk. Unfortunately you need to shopclick them.
If you're running deadshot, a single stamina curio is enough on the bolter. In general, 17% toughness curios are veteran meta. I personally like a single 21% health with corruption resistance just in case some retard blows up a burster in my face.
For perks, cooldown reduction and toughness are generally the best. I believe a single revive speed curio lets you res someone after shouting before enemies can attack. Stamina regen is very good because veteran is cucked for stamina. Gunner resistance is a comfy crutch stat and I use it on just about everything.

Gunner resistance is a good stat, especially in havoc. Every melee enemy is relatively easy to dodge, and so are snipers. If a gunner is actively spraying on you, and you didn't notice because you were in cover, not paying attention, or inside a psyker bubble that just popped, you instantly eat shit in havoc. You also instantly eat shit if it's 2-3 of them in aurics unless you can immediately piss yourself. It also lets you face tank gunner fire for a little bit and just return fire and kill them without having to slide around like a spastic.
Sniper resistance is the shitter stat, and even then I can excuse one (1) of them on ogryn because it lets you just shrug them off.

Even with multiplicative stacking, 0.8^3 comes out to 0.512, just about halving the incoming damage. WORST CASE SCENARIO this makes the difference in reaction speed between instantly eating shit from 100% toughness, and surviving with a sliver of health. Those +15% toughness or whatever other stat you would otherwise have aren't going to save you here.
Depending on how much damage resistance you have in your tree, how much overall toughness and/or gold toughness you have, you can even stand in gunner fire for a surprisingly long time.
