There should be baseline mechanics which:
-Reward killers for being away from the hook when an unhook happens (it's not enough just to punish them for being nearby, the anti facecamp meter is only half the job).
-Punish the survivor who unhooks immediately within seconds after a hook, but give an advantage to the poor survivor who got unhooked to basically guarantee he gets away.
-Give advantages to whoever goes for the unhook if the facecamp meter has filled 50% or more, and highlight this is ready to all survivors. For example, make the unhook speed 100% faster and give endurance to survivors entering within X meters of the hook.
All of this in combination should eventually lead to killers leaving the hook for both fear of punishment and eagerness for reward, and survivors not undermining this by not wanting to unhook under the killers nose before he had a chance to leave.

I don't know what the base gen damage stat should be. If they want it to be more of a ramp up they could increase the multiplier for each torture point and start it out pretty low. The stat could also be killer dependent, similar to terror radius or move speed, and could be a simple number tweak that could be the first buff or nerf they do to a killer upon community outcry that would make a significant impact without having to rework their whole power, or an interim tweak between more significant reworks.

I have no problem with tunnels because survivors get advanced warning with turrets which they should be punished for not placing, and no problem with TVs because if you haven't turned off the TV next to your gen you're stupid.
I have no problem with Springtrap's doors, I do think they should be a little louder when opening, but I do have a big problem with how quickly he can act after emerging. I don't think him being invisible with this bug even makes a difference, he'll still be getting guaranteed hits regardless after it's fixed in most instances. I think he should emerge slower from the doors to compensate for how unlike with Alien or Sadako, you cannot get advance warning when he's about to emerge or disable the door.

Well if you had actually read it then you would know what I think about what to do with perks. I don't care if people who have read it don't read it again. Filter it if you want. The point is someone sees it who hasn't thought about something like it before, it gets them thinking about how the game could be very feasibly different, and balanced around much better incentives. They start blaming game design instead of the way other players are playing. If they post feedback somewhere maybe the devs see then maybe that feedback is influenced by that mindset or understanding.

This might be the canadian's best chapter yet. A killer that has their entire forums crying with bugs that still in live that are killer sided. The issue with that was it was all speculation and Bobby Kotick getting his billionaire friends at small companies like Comcast to buy a team slot.

The current version of OW esports is just how everyone else does it and is fine because it’s funded by actual esports orgs and isn’t blizzard having a complete stranglehold on all events.

Yeah it's fine. Chem Trap is a fun perk. If you want something more generically good and base I'd recommend Resilience since there's a lot of times and killers where you just have to play injured. Deja Vu is always good and while it's a bit boring saving your team from getting in a 3gen situation and also just having a passive buff is nice.

I'd replace We'll Make It with Botany or Desperate Measures eventually.

I'd suggest trying Bond over Kindred to see how you like it. Both are good, some people run both but it really depends on what you're willing to give up. I like Bond just for not running the killer into teammates or avoiding them running them to me by accident.

Dead Hard? It's alright, it comes with a couple problems though. It's conditional, meaning you have to get hooked to be able to use it and it's really hard to use if you get put on a shitty ping server. I also wouldn't bother with it unless you're also running Made For This (Gabriel Soma perk) so you also get haste while you're in deep wound.

The other poster saying to just use Lithe is right. It'll be more useful in more games while DH is only situationally viable while also incurring more risk.

For me, I think any survivor at all can be added without breaking horror immersion. It's not about them, it's about who they're running from. Even when creating original survivors, there's nothing 'horror' about them. Dwight is a wagie, Meg is an athlete, Jane is a talk show host, etc. At most they have a connection to the killers. Of course it's good to add survivor candidates from horror IPS, but they don't have to be.
The killers, however, should be overtly horror themed, because these ARE who you are going to be running from. They should be horror themed or spooky themed. The cast of Friends could be added a survivors and it wouldn't matter to me at all, but Bricktop from Snatch for example would never fit for me as a killer because though he kills lots of people in gruesome ways and is a complete psychopath, Snatch is not a horror and it's not spooky. The details don't matter, it's the presentation.

His hatchet is far worse than huntress. It's very slow to ready, has no range, and if he misses a throw he can't M1 for at least 3 seconds. More than enough time to rotate to the next loop. If he does manage to hit you, don't remove the axe. Recalling the axe manually wastes time. As long as you have the axe, you're safe.
It's actually kind of gross how horrible springtrap is in chase. Horrible killer. All of the downsides of Huntress with none of the benefits. He's only good for making le epic orbital shots over walls, but that only works on some outdoor maps.

Any invocation ideas? It seems like being broken for the rest of the trial is the standard invocation penalty, so any ideas you come up with have to be worth doing that, which crows certainly isn't and I would say spiders isn't really either.

SWF and killer don't need any help currently. Solo survivor does but also they shouldn't get any kind of hard stat buff, I think basekit reading other survivors auras + being able to see the other survivors perks like you can check ping/offerings would help a lot.

My idea was kindred minus the killer aura reveal part + bond while any survivor is in chase (kind of like quick gambit but it works both ways, has a range limit and doesn't give any buffs)

By removing the killer aura reveal part it doesn't disadvantage the killer to hook the survivor but it gives the solo survivor a similar advantage to playing in a group. It perfectly "narrows the gap" between solo and swf without having any sort of mechanic you can exploit.

About 2 yeah, I started to get burnt out after wesker came out. Killer felt way too easy and survivor felt way too hard. I'd say the gap is smaller now but disappointed they didn't do much for solo survivor.

The best change they made in between knight and now is the survivor icons that show when someone is in chase/healing/genning. If they can fix slugging and give solo survivor basekit bond/kindred I think the game will be pretty fair between the roles. Though I still think there's way too much enemy aura reading. Killer pretty much always knows where survivors are now. Survivor isn't quite as bad yet but I can see them continuing to add more and it ends up like everyone might as well have OoO on.

The yellow bottle doesn't activate immediately, giving time for the clown and survivor to reposition before it buffs you. It could end up being useless or the survivor could sneak around and use it to escape. Not to mention it also gives more haste for much longer.
Foxy's hook is active immediately. If you attempt to use your hatchet to injure a survivor but miss, you just end up giving them haste while you dont get it at all. If you try to use the hook like a discount clown bottle by just tossing it in front of you, you're stuck moving at half speed for 3 seconds while recovering from the throw. The 7% for 3 seconds doesn't even make up for the time spent throwing the axe.
If you're talking about the celebrate poster, the point is that it' was fun in the ptb when it was 20% haste. 12% isn't nearly as fun and also every nearby player gets a vault speed buff. This buff only helps survivors though since they already vault faster than you.

The celebrate poster gives 12% haste and +20% vault speed to a survivor with an axe in them and EVERYONE nearby. The idea for killer I guess is that survivors won't necessarily have a fast enough reaction time to take advantage, but in reality the more than doubled resilience vault effect makes them pretty much impossible to hit at a loop when they're locked in. Also if you hit them in the open, they can make their way to a vault faster.

The correct and honestly only really viable strategy against her is to just prerun and do gens as fast as possible and never heal or play altruistically or get in chase.
