Homing Edition
>Previous>>528195571>WHAT IS HELLDIVERS 2?HELLDIVERS 2 is a 2024 co-op, squad-based, PvE 3rd person shooter for PC and PS5 where players fight against hordes of alien insects, robots and squids to Spread Democracy. Players wage war on a number of contested planets, each with a different environment, completing as many objectives as possible within a procedurally generated area while constrained by a time limit. With enough successful operations a planet can be completely liberated, and the player base must cooperate to try to liberate the entire galaxy by focusing and combining their efforts as much as possible.

>WHAT ABOUT THE FIRST HELLDIVERS GAME?Released in 2015 for PC, PS3/4 and PS Vita, the original HELLDIVERS is the origin of the setting and basic gameplay formula of HELLDIVERS 2. The major difference is that HELLDIVERS is a top-down shooter, its mechanics being based primarily on Arrowhead's first game Magicka.

>>528285413No, it would be too strong. Instead I want it and the game to be overhauled to make it perform like an actual Javelin.
1. Give it fire modes for direct attacks and top-down attacks. Then modify the body parts on bot heavies so that they have a hitbox on top with weaker armor and which has less HP and can be fatal. This also has the added benefit of giving other AT weapons another combat option where you can try to get close to and above a heavy to try to kill it in one shot.
2. The projectile has a double kinetic penetrator that inflicts two consecutive but separate instances of damage. This means you can break armor and then damage the internals, which lets it kill bug heavies and Harvesters in one shot, but against really thick armor it just expends all that damage to attempt to break the armor.
3. Give it the Commando laser as another fire mode, so you can choose to laser-guide the projectile directly instead of relying on the homing lock-on.
And on that note, also give the Commando a fire option where you can launch all four rockets at once.

Or, consider that it's just bad GMing and everyone already gave up on the MO because it was unwinnable. Joel started the planets out with a horrendously high decay rate, and somehow expected us to liberate the equivalent of five planets within five days against a global 3% decay rate. It was a forced loss from the get-go, and I'm kind of surprised that everyone tolerated it for as long as they did.

Why are bots forgotten
What does this thing do, does it only stun and nothing else? Why would I bring this over thermites?
Adjudicator or Reprimand?
Modded and all that the Reprimand beats the Adjudicator on the numbers that matter for clicking heads, however, using both guns the Adjudicator feels better to use and I have had much more fun and success using it than the other.
What gives?
>>528288751you would never, the entire warbond is DoA

>>528288751Yes it just stuns
>Why would I bring this over thermites? No reason. It has an aoe but you'd do better with the stun grenade. Its good for flesh mobs and nothing else.
>>528288751It stuns multiple times and on a small radius. I actually like it. Like, its not "meta" or anything, but the game is easy anyway so.
Do fucktards not know to disable their fucking shock-dog when holding points like extraction?
How fucking hard is it to press 5 and NOT chain-team-kill all other players over and over?
>>528288032I feel that the low ammo count would be fair if the weapon was given the ability to one-shot the vast majority of heavies in the game if you use it right. Right now, the Spear's higher damage per shot over the Recoilless doesn't matter because you can't target weak points, but these changes would give it a solid advantage in almost every situation. For instance, choosing direct trajectory against a Bile Titan that's facing you or using the laser designator would let you one-shot it with a headshot when previously it could only happen if the Bile Titan was far enough away and you angled the shot correctly. Factory Striders still take at least two shots to kill and even then only if you manage to get it facing you head-on so that the lock-on causes it to hit the head. It can't kill Harvesters in one shot because of their layered armor, but if given a double penetrator it could at least crack the armor and maim it in the very worst-case scenario, leaving it easy to finish off with other weapons.
>>528288801Reprimand has extremely aggressive damage falloff over distances above 20m.
Adjuducator does not.
>>528288801>however, using both guns the Adjudicator feels better to use and I have had much more fun and success using it than the otherThen why are you asking? You're literally doing the "Just watched/played [THING], what did I think of it?" shitpost.

squids are just boring, anyone can learn how to burn the cosmic turds, it's just that people don't like doing it. you can nerf the leviathan a hundred times and people will not stop calling it a slop design. fleshmobs are just chargers with bullet sponge build in place of armor. just super lame. fun to kill for the first three times.
>>528301837My take on fleshmobs, they're a retard check. But not against fleshmobs themselves. They're a retard check against the watchers. There's no good efficient way to kill fleshmobs. They're just fat stacks of HP. With other enemies there are achilles heels that you can target to defeat them both quickly and with a minimal expenditure of ammo. But fleshmobs are just HP bloat. Some weapons like ABRL, WASP, and AC can kill them quickly, but at a sizeable ammo cost. Laser weapons can kill them ammo efficiently thanks to providing ranged ways to ignite targets, but it's still a time inefficient way to kill them. Fortunately they're not exceptionally common as ambient enemies. There might be two in a patrol, or four in a POI/objective. All pretty easy to keep under control. But during a reinforcement wave a good 8-12 of the fucking things can spawn, and that can just overwhelm your ammo supply as an individual.
Compared to marauders and every bug that can call for backup, watchers are both extraordinarily rare and extraordinarily conspicuous with their disco lights. But retards still manage to run off and pose for selfies with the damn things. Perhaps they still haven't realized that watchers are the only enemy that can call for backup. Because of this shitters are a MUCH bigger detriment to a team vs squids than vs bugs or bots. When you have a shitter or two running around both triggering reinforcement waves AND failing to contribute meaningful damage vs those reinforcements, then you reach a situation where eventually there's just mathematically too much HP bloat for one or two good players to chew through. We just don't have enough gun to keep up with maximum reinforcement rate fleshmob spam.
Pay attention to your games. There is a night and day difference between games where your teammates just spend 2-3 bullets killing the watchers when they appear, and those where they trigger reinforcements constantly.

>>528303970Helldivers are unreliable. ARCDOG is my friend.
All right, listen up chumps, because both Joel and the Helldivers Companion website are failing you right now.
The addition of cities to planets means that the percentage decay rates are irrelevant. If a planet has cities or towns, that means it'll have more than just 1 million HP, which means that it'll be harder to capture.
Let's take a look at Veld, for example. Now, when you fucks see a 0.56% decay rate, you might immediately assume that it's easy pickings. But that's not true, because they added two cities to it, one Town and one Megacity, which drastically increased the planet HP. Factor in that increase in HP, and what you're actually looking at is 1% decay rate on a planet that has almost twice as much HP as a regular colony planet. This means that it's going to be almost four times harder to liberate than if everyone went to Gar Haren instead, which has no cities and thus regular HP and an actual 0.5% decay rate.
So the next time you armchair generals decide to decry the Blob's incompetency, do a bit of math beforehand to see just how fucked things really are.

Crescents, Fleshmobs, Stingrays, and Leviathans all collectively shit on that.

>>528305364The Blob struggles to liberate a single planet at 1% decay rate within 24 hours unless the DSS is there. This MO was asking the players to liberate four and a half planets at 3% starting decay rate, within five days. It's basically a rerun of the last squid MO where Joel asked us to liberate four planets in four days, with two of them starting at 3-3.5% decay and then everything eventually dropping down to 1% over time. It simply isn't possible unless you get 80% of the player base on the planet constantly, and everyone donating samples to max out the DSS effects instantaneously.
The simple truth of the matter is that not only does Joel suck at math, but these squid MOs are scripted losses.

I've occasionally lowered the difficulty when I want to try new builds, but I like high difficulty squids with mobility builds. They punish you for taking fights, so you gotta keep running and gunning.

If I'm doing a scouting build on bots I take hellbomb pack and jetpack. Find a jammer and just dump it off next to it and leave.

hdg is home team
>>528324519>MUH TIMES WAS BETTUHYes, it was. Now shut up and downloard your 50 gigabyte one day patch and decide which flavor of smear you want your visuals to have.
>>528304386>watchers are both extraordinarily rare and extraordinarily conspicuous with their disco lights. Are people like you playing a different game?
I keep hearing this claim that watchers are very rare, that squids are easy because they never get reinforcements because it's so easy to pop the occasional watcher that shows up.
Yet when I play watchers are one of the most common enemies. Not only are they common, I very frequently encounter watchers traveling in pairs or even occasionally groups of three, or occasionally even watchers converging upon your position from multiple directions.
How can watchers be rare yet I routinely see them flying in pairs?
After disabling mouse smoothing the gun play (and frames) improved dramatically for me. Are there any other settings I should fuck with?
>>528326243>50 gigabyte one day patchyeah with your 40mb/s internet and your 50 dollar 5tb M2 drive.

>>528324980Manager-kun,
Can you make the ball slightly off the origin point so it constantly bounces around a bit as it rolls?
Also, I would've loved to see the players who haven't played yet in this match since the team is already dead so conditions don't really matter.
You think they're ever going to add faces?
So what setting do I have to change so objects aren't doing this?
>>528325474The better question is, what aren't the practical uses?
>destroys objective buildings, no questions asked>kills any enemy within range of the explosion, no questions asked>25 meter death radius, no questions askedWhile it is true that it's most useful against bots due to how their bases and reinforcement waves work, it's still super useful against the rest. You can kill 90% of a Heavy Bug Nest and everything in it, leaving just one or two grenade tosses to finish it off. You can instantly delete a Cognitive Disruptor to alleviate one of the biggest headaches squids can put out on the map, you can make a single entryway to a Monolith and remove it instantly, and so on.
>>528326198actually fuck off with this if you're going to make us a laughing stock
>>528326439Are you just really fucking bad at math or something?
>BugsEvery single scavenger, warrior, pouncer, hive guard, and alpha commander has the capacity to call for backup. If you don't kill all of those targets within the opening moments of an engagements, then one of them will quickly call for backup. You can fight hundreds of enemies in each match that are capable of calling for backup. Maybe a thousand+ in longer matches. Also, in any fight near bug holes, it is possible for a fresh bug to spawn and call for backup with its first breath. Often you can't even stop the reinforcement call because they're behind a rock or something.
>botsIt's just the marauder enemies that can call for bot drops, but there can still be a dozen or so of them in a patrol. Like the bugs, nearby fabricators can create marauders that can call for backup as their first action in life. The bots also have big fuckoff huge eyes of sauron objectives designed around calling in reinforcements against anyone within hundreds of meters of the objective. You can still end up killing multiple hundreds of marauders over the course of a match. Again, like the bugs, often you can't stop the drop because the marauder is inside their base or behind cover of some sort.
>squidsThe only thing that can call for backup are watchers. There's often one flitting about, but sometimes they move in PAIRS!!!91!. I've even seen THREE of them at once before. They announce their presence with their disco lights, and need to fly within ~30m to take a photo of you. They hover up above most obstructions that would have hidden a scavenger.
Watchers can not spawn from UFOs and call for backup with their first action because they do not spawn from UFOs. You might see a few dozen, maybe 50+ watchers, over the course of a mission.
Reinforcements are practically facts of life vs bugs and bots, but it is realistic to completely cuck squids out of reinforcements if people just pay the fuck attention.

Just have every CC option available and stop enemies from shooting you and your teammates. Basically gas builds and EMS.

Ballistic shield on bugs and illuminate, just take all the aggro while your team clicks stuff off you. Really strong with DOTs because you just put everything on a timer and you wait it out.
>Scouting / Stealth
Run around, find all POIs on the map. Sniping them with nukes and early marking things like stalker layers. Then taking backshots on enemy units when your team pulls all the aggro.

Not that I can really throw any shade about autism. Honestly I really miss dumb OC culture cause it's kinda neat to see what headcanons other people come up with as long as it doesn't descend into powerwank.

>>528328525>Every single scavenger, warrior, pouncer, hive guard, and alpha commander has the capacity to call for backup. If you don't kill all of those targets within the opening moments of an engagements, then one of them will quickly call for backupExcept it's ridiculously easy to kill those chaffs units within the opening moments of an engagement t if people pay attention, so it works both ways. Literally all you have to do is interrupt their animation and you cancelled their reinforcement.
A unit that you routinely see traveling in groups leading patrols is not a rare unit. Is a hulk a rare unit? Watcher's aren't rare, and this idea that you can magically shut down every watcher patrol 100% of the time but struggle blowing through chaff bots and bugs before they can call in reinforcements is a joke.

Granted war blunder fucked it up at the very highest tiers where 4th generation fighters + fire and forget weapons are involved. But at lower BRs a talented SPAAG with good aim that is patient enough to wait until planes enter their no-escape zone can swat planes down. What is the most game changing warbond?
Not "oh this pack is really strong, or this gun just kills everything."
What is a warbond that actually changed/fixed the meta?
>Steeled veterans
>Senator lets you play bots without an ap4 support weapon meaning you can actually deal with the insane hulk spawn rate
>Cutting Edge
Stun grenades enable nearly everything. But they've fallen off a bit now that call in time is negligible and everything staggers enemies.
>Democratic Detonation
Like the senator, this pack basically eases off on the amount of AT you need to bring to factions like bugs where so many heavies spawn, and players specced into AT might not always get the job done.
>Viper Commandos
Peak physique is arguably one of the strongest passives in the game and should be a gold standard for how armor passives are designed. The armor carries every support weapon from mediocrity to viable if not incredible.
>Freedom Flame
Torcher is basically a primary flamethrower, it doesn't have the raw DPS but it lets you rebuild your kit around it and use that extra strategem slot to mitigate the flamethrowers weaknesses
>Chemical Agents
Gas is honestly the strongest CC in the game right now, to the point where it's effectively broken. You can clear level 10 bug erradication missions with a supply pack and gas grenades easilly.
>Servants of freedom
Again like senator and thermite, ultimatum basically frees up any AT problems
>Borderline Justice
Hoverpack carries the flamethrower/torcher into god status on bugs and illuminate. However with the prevalence of consistant stuns the mitigation isn't too important.
>Force of Law
Urchin acts like a more "balanced" version of gas, enabling slow TTK weapons to actually perform without just taking raw immediate damage. It seems like every warbond is just trying it's best to slowly pull us away from taking rockets.
Looking at it, I'd probably say viper commandos.
>>528337151Well, screw it then, I'll just wear my favorite cape with this armor regardless if it clashes or not. It's hard to match this armor set but it's the only medic armor I like, unfortunately. The others look like mascots for toothpaste companies.
>>528334946NTA but I also reinstalled it recently too as I got phantom liberty

speaking of retarded cyber shit.
I hope they double down on the "cyber" armor when they release a stealth warbond. Like give us a katana primary, active camo backpack, and lean more into stuff like the drone master.
>>528337991>Steeled VeteransThe Senator wasn't actually game-changing when it first came out, because AP4 wasn't given to it until long after release and the AT vs. heavy problem was resolved in the 60-day patches. In fact, the Breaker Incendiary was the prime reason to have the warbond because it was the de-facto bug killer weapon of the game.
>Cutting EdgeStun Grenade + OPS was a core setup in the early days due to being the sole guaranteed method for killing heavies. Punisher Plasma was also one of the stronger anti-bot weapons since it could stagger Heavy Devastators through their shields and kill Scout Strider pilots from behind their metal box.
>Democratic DetonationIn the very early days, Grenade Pistol and pre-nerf Eruptor were godly. Thermite was literal dogshit until it was given anti-tank capabilities, while Exploding Crossbow got slightly nerfed and then massively buffed into the monstrosity it is today.
>Polar PatriotsLiteral dogshit upon release, it's only good now because they finally completed the Purifier and buffed the Tenderizer and Verdict.
>Viper CommandosThe strength of Experimental Infusion was only due to there being so few viable choices for flex boosters (it being the fifth warbond ever to be released meant it got its foot in the door early). Everything else was incidental, and nowadays there are more options for boosters and you can just get Medium Peak Physique from the Superstore.
>Freedom's FlameWhen it got released it was abysmal dogshit because fire weapons had recently been "nerfed" in Escalation of Freedom (they didn't actually get nerfed, just fixed, but everyone put the blame on the wrong cause). Only things worth it were the Cookout and Inflammable armor.
>Chemical AgentsAgain, abysmal dogshit upon release. Stim Pistol was worthless due to inherent spread and slow projectile speed, Sterilizer and Dog Breath were also shit, only the Gas Grenade was worth it.
>>528303282how can you use burst fire?
>>528338998that sounds gay, splinter cell/metal gear inspired stuff would fit a stealth warbond way better
>>528339248Didn't entirely mean on release, but current meta.
Stun grenades were insane on release though, I'm kinda surprised they haven't brought back heavy stunning.
>>528338883My eruptor has been 25 for weeks...
Ultimatum is retarded and they'll never balance it and you will always be put in teams where everyone else uses it. So yeah it's Servants of Freedom.
How is this MO not finished yet?
>>528339383Why not both?
But you're probably right, following the trend of warbonds we'd see.
>Decent Armor: Splinter cell MGS bodysuit with bulging biceps that's light armor>Meme Armor: Guille suit with like a little flower on the top of the helmet, it's medium armor>Cyborg edgy armor in the store with a primary katana
>>528337991in no particular order
>urchinworthless meme item
>hoverpackworthless due to aim bob
>peak physiquegood but overrated
>senatorabsolutely does not let you play without a real support weapon. It's a good weapon but 100% a cope pick in this regard. Lets you deal with hulks reliably, though. This is the one thing it has going for it.
>torchercome on now, the secondary is genuinely a better pick
>ultimatumthe supreme shitter secondary. Worthless pick - If you need to use it to deal with AT you already deserve to die
>>528337991Detonation by allowing you to have explosives in your secondary or primary slot to close objectives is by far the most game changing warbond. The grenade pistol alone allows far more build diversity then needing to dedicate multiple stratagems or your support weapon to closing 10 hole bug nests.

Swiggers, automatrannies and squiddies get in the oven now.
>>528337991>>528339248>Truth EnforcersIt was and still is okay. Halt and Dead Sprint got some decent coverage in the early days and Dead Sprint was even heralded as the booster to supplant Experimental Infusion since the HP penalty became negligible when stacked with Vitality Booster. Reprimand had its fans back in the day as it does now, but there was a huge outcry at the time because it was an SMG that couldn't be one-handed, literally the only one. Unflinching perk was worthless upon launch, it's okay-ish now because of the extra armor rating bonus.
>Urban LegendsStill the top contender for best warbond in the game. Siege Ready and Armed Supply Pods were considered top tier in the new urban tileset, melee weapons were a new addition, the Sparta Kick emote was fucking great, and AT Emplacement remains the strongest stratagem in the game hands-down.
>Servants of FreedomStill top tier even after various nerfs. DE Sickle is still absurdly strong, maybe stronger now than at release; the Ultimatum was busted as fuck because it could kill Stratagem Jammers and still be affected by Hellpod Space Optimization and Siege Ready; Portable Hellbomb still remains one of the biggest game-changers.
>Borderline JusticeGreat fun, but nothing to write home about. Deadeye supplanted DCS for best marksman rifle in the game, Talon is okay but nothing spectacular, Hover Pack is fun but not meta-changing.
>Masters of CeremonyAbysmal dogshit, and still is to this day. Who the fuck thought a melee weapon in the stratagem slot with no real benefits would be a good idea? The only good thing from the warbond is the Reinforced Epaulettes perk, and only after the massive buff to it.
>Force of LawStill not convinced this warbond actually does anything. I like the De-Escalator even if it's not that good, since it's a revolving chamber grenade launcher (they could have just made it a reskinned Grenade Launcher and kept the belt feed mechanism, but they didn't, and I appreciate that).
>>528339704>absolutely does not let you play without a real support weapon.>Worthless pick - If you need to use it to deal with AT you already deserve to dieEvery non AP4/AP5 support weapon benefits immensely from taking any AT secondary/grenade.
You cannot rely on reds to do the job for you at higher difficulties, and you need a pocket answer if you're paired with a shitter.
Hell you don't even need to take a support weapon on bots because of this. Thermites and senator will be enough, and you can just run supply pack primary to kill everything else.
This also allows players to type into roles more, players can run AT and feel like they've got a responsibility in the party without everyone fighting over using their AT first. Having innefficient AT kills changes a lot in this game.
Honestly unless you run nothing but recoiless I don't see how you think this way.
>he left without giving a hug
grim
>>528340075Grenade pistol was pretty substantial, like practically mandatory for bug holes. It did kinda overshadow the utility of grenade launcher and eagle air strike though. I'd be mixed with it, but it did enable stun/gas nades.
>>528340234>Still not convinced this warbond actually does anything.Give it time. FleshMobs have a unique trait where if you stun them for even a half second lose control of their tracking and just run past you. If they add this behavior into more enemies, it'll be a substantial pack. Seeing the pacifier do this to fleshmobs repeatedly kind of 180'd my opinion on stun weapons.

>>528340285So which heavies do you use the Senator on?
Using a supply pack means you're going to throw thermites on 99% of the armored stuff and leave the Senator for hulk coinslotting only. Obviously it will work but it's not because of the Senator.
>>528340286Sry. RP makes me anxious
how would (you) fix the passive ability problem
>>528340797Hulks, and gun ships.
>Obviously it will work but it's not because of the Senator.wait what do you mean by this.
Like theres no bot threat that chases you that needs to be immediately killed, outside of hulks.
Everything else you can let your team handle, and you can even defang factory striders for your allies. I guess it's just something you only notice if you're playing with buddies for a good while and want to let them have their moment of glory.
>>528341313Let use just swap armor passives around. I'm tired of seeing the same dozen armors everyone uses.
>>528341313It's fine siege ready niggers should suffer being metafags
>>528341313I'm glad you asked anon
>Make armors into "class identities" or build anchors like they intended them to be>Figure out what the armor is meant to do >Find meta's and responsibilities each faction presents now that we have access to the full roster.Like lets take medic armor for instance. Imagine if the guy with medic armor stims himself, everyone around him gets stimmed.
Then have it work the other way around, he stim pistols someone and they get healed,
or better yet just give medic armor an active regen that gets higher the more people they're healing.
They can keep the extra 2 second stim time, just so medic armor keeps it's crutch status.
Then you can do cursed shit like grenade armor buffs the explosion radius of all grenades,
and up tiers their AP. It also gives you full resupply on grenades.
Remove the recoil reduction, and give them 50% explosive resistance.
Like I don't get how this is so fucking hard for them.
The only excuse I can see is that they don't want to do a balance overhaul until every enemy is introduced,
as the meta won't be set in stone until then. But it's been nearly a year theres really no excuse.
>>528341313there isn't a problem unless you have an unhealthy attachment to a certain passive, in that case get help

Like the medic armor could have some sort of nigh-invisible nano-machine swarm around them. You could also say medics pre-inject the squad with an active stim cocktail that activates when the player is within range of the health monitoring system.
>>528342254>grenade launcher>DWhole list discarded
>>528343563>Like the medic armor could have some sort of nigh-invisible nano-machine swarm around them. You could also say medics pre-inject the squad with an active stim cocktail that activates when the player is within range of the health monitoring system. Not feeling it.
>public lobby
>all latin character nicknames
>team sticks together, cover each other, picks loadouts that function well and complements the team, communicate with pings and`character voice callouts
>splash heavy weapons, such as the Airburst and grenade launchers are picked, hardly a teamkill made in the entire operation
>surgically clears the entire map and extract within 20 minutes with hardly any deaths
>always salutes or hugs on team success
>public lobby
>eastern han pictogram nicknames
>no synergy in loadouts
>on landing all chinks fuck off to solofag
>all solofags either die within a minute from splitting, or it's a hacker with invulnerability
>when they're not solofagging they use their splash heavy support weapons indiscriminently, teamkilling everyone in the process
>do not emote, hardly communicate with or respond to pings
>extract after 35 minutes after running out of reinforcements and only clearing the main objective and a couple of side objectives
Why are the chinks like this? Can I block all of China from joining my lobbies somehow?
>>528343530Honestly?
All they need to do is make it so health regen doesn't fix limb break.
>>528341313Fuck it lets get autistic
>remove armor passives>split out the abilities so no duplicating reload speed with siege ready and reinforced epaulettes, or doing +4 total grenades>all passives get a 1 point (recoil reduction, map marker pings) or 2 point (stuff like stim count, stim time, democracy protects) cost>light armor max is 1 pts>medium armor max is 2>heavy armor max is 3This is perfect slight powercreep to make redditors basedface while also setting up a huge reveal for when Arrowhead releases the first ever 3 point armor passive.
If I offer you a hug and you walk by me, you aren't getting very far.
>>528343680>not feeling itAlright lets say we had something that was realistic and excused the gameplay reason, would you say that's the only thing holding you back from it. Or do you just not like the idea of the armors giving class identity like other games?
>>528343754heavy armour chads stay winning
>>528343754Would make picking a heavy armor set actually worth it, which makes this automatically better than any system Arrowhead can come up with.
>>528343754this would only be cool if what you took was reflected on your armor, like having extra stims or ammo pouches and yes taking flame resistance should make you like foil

>>528336483Good games, guys.
>>528344209The best botclicker weapon since the Constitution.
>>528344209Mainly disappointment. It's not that good, but also not nearly completely worthless like Masters of Ceremony.
>>528343754Honestly heavy armor getting more from the bonuses would be nice. The survivability is completely negilible, especially the bonuses.
>Take heavy armor>get hit by a 125 damage rocket>get left with like 25 hp because the damage reduction>Take medium cop armor>get hit by a 125 damage rocket>get left with like 25 hp because the 25% damage reduction.Honestly a big problem is that heavy armor is 100% stim dependent, not even to survive but to mitigate chip damage. Cause if you're not using your heavy armor to mitigate damage you are taking, why are you even wearing heavy armor.
It's even worse when you look at shit like health booster thats basically giving you heavy armor for free. You've met the breakpoint for one shots, why bother with heavy armor.
>>528343698How do you guys keep playing with chinks so often I've only seen 2 today, they play on a specific planet or something
>>528344209BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
click click click click click
BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM
>>528344209>blitz with 3 jammersgrim
entire map is a no strat zone
>>528344209great sidearm and a great primary for squids
>>528344209Jetpack + flamethrower is orgasmic
Deadeye is one of the most satisfying marksmen rifles in the game
Talon is arguably the most well designed secondary due to it reloading itself.
Sheriff armor is pretty funny and lets you do dumb builds around secondaries, but it's mostly just for fun. Bushwacker is really satisfying.
>>528344276>The best botclicker weapon since the ConstitutionYou're a nigger anon :)
I LOVE SHOOTING SQUIGGERS HEADS OFF WITH THE DEAD EYE ESPECIALLY THE FLYING FUCKERS, SEEING THEM DROP FROM THE SKY LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES GETS ME PUMPED
>>528344209current gunslinger passive has a bug that slows down the switch to your primary
>>528344209Deadeye I found not really fun unless you get the 10x scope, mostly useful on squids cos it 1 taps overseers in the head. Bots is useful but not great, awful on bugs. Talon is my favourite secondary and I've stopped using everything else. Armour is eh, booster is eh.
>>528344703Nuh uh! You are the nigger, anon!
>>528344703>he can't botclick
>>528344209The talon is probably one of the best sidearms in the game. The hoverpack is fun for perching yourself on top of stupid things during defense missions.
>>528344805I'm actually contemplating a bot constitution build though now I figured out the trick with ap3. Just wish they buffed the damage a smidge so it could at least kill two devs in one mag, 275 would be perfect
>>528345014what in the goddamn?
>>528345136just hit heads
i'm taking the libcarbine to bots and it deletes devs if you can aim
>>528345014wow anon.
Only issue I have is if you miss it staggers them, making the next shot harder on the face.
I really do think the Amendment has solved marksman rifles. No other rifle feels as good and powerful with such a large ammo pool as it does, and having such high base damage and damage per magazine, you can just brute force most enemies, but especially berserkers and hulks (to the heat sink) being absolutely shredded by it. It being light pen is actually good in almost all cases, since it doesn't stagger an enemy on a miss and allows you to make the follow up shot more consistently. Only lacking part is against overseers on squids and being unable to hit the hip joint on striders over on bots, but since you can just pop the missiles in 1 shot (and that being an easier shot), it's fine. It's my go-to bot weapon now.
>>528345014What's the trick, aim off the pip between the horizontal lines, or aim off the center of the bore circle?
>>528344276your diligence sir?
>>528345702It really does just feel like better constitution, especially after the ergonomic change. I really have to wonder if they're just going to keep constitution this "challenge gun"
>>528345876Itโs intention, itโs an amendment to the constitution.
>>528345876I wouldn't compare it to the constitution really, it's mostly a souped-up Diligence that always kills chaff to a body shot, instead of leaving them alive 50% of the time and requiring a follow-up shot to confirm it. Amendment is super high fire rate and shoots basically as fast as you can click, like the Diligence.
>if they're just going to keep constitution this "challenge gun"Of course they will, and I hope they do.
>>528346029heh
>>528345843The trick is to just click the head and get lucky i guess. (not me though, i'm just good at the game)
>>528325474Run under a bot/squid drop and wipe the whole wave out in one go.
>>528342254>non-faction-specific tier list
>>528334085It's easy just make a voteless SEAF-chan. So her but blue.
>>528346865>SEAF-chan was simply TOO democratic to be converted, so she's kinda squiddy now, but still 100% loyal to Super Earth
>>528344401main thing with heavy is you dont need to stim every piece of chip and it reduces headshot damage quite a bit.
The thread is dead, yet (You) refuse to make a new thread.
>>528348471That's kinda true, but I don't think people should ever be stimming hits. Only reason to stim chip is if you're going into an engagement and want a few seconds of invincibility.
>>528348790We've still got two perfectly good pages, just post more you pussy.
