Any tips on repairs in 76? This is just getting stupid, weapons and armor constantly breaking and needing shitton of materials to repair. I placed on some perks like armor and weapon chance to regenerate on enemy hit, but this is just plain annoying - having half of your deck be just about your armor and weapon durability.

Power Armor is far more durable than regular armor, for regular armor there isn't much you can do except not get hit a.k.a sneaking

Those are by far the worst durability perks, they hardly do anything.

Use Gunsmith (INT) for ranged weapons, Makeshift Warrior (INT) for Melee along with Stable Tools (INT) if you're using automatic melee weapons and you can use White Knight for Armor.
You should also use Weapon Artisan (INT) and Fix it Good (INT) to repair your items to 200% durability so you have to repair half as much.

When you're higher level you can just solo the robot boss a few times and have unlimited repair kits that you can use without a work bench

The Bethesda Game (and I use this in a general term going all the way back to Morrowind because in some fashion it's always been the same game) is impossible to balance

Every single installment goes from occasionally pointlessly hard to braindead easy with nothing in between

I can think of nearly zero confrontations in a Bethesda game that are challenging but not tedious, just give you something enjoyable to chew on for a moment

Forgot just how long a completionist run of 4 is. Ive done everything north of Boston, Nuka World, and 90% of Boston proper and it feels like Im nowhere near done. I havent even been to Goodneighbor, nor Far Harbor, and there's still everything south of the city. The urban core is like a black hole, there's so many paths and loot caches crammed everywhere it takes forever to move one block. On the plus side, there's no level cap so there's always more to unlock.

Personally i quit Fallout pretty hard recently. I uninstalled 76 because it was boring.
Modded Fo4 to a state i'm finally happy with it and just said to myself, enough, i refuse to mod it further. Besides adding the occasional weapon or outfit i find.

...because water is heavy and is compression resistant so it takes up a lot of space too. It can also leaks, so it's containers need to be armor (which is more weight and mass on the transport line), buried (only works for stationary emplacements, longer install time), or put into a self-sealing tank (a specially designed product that requires a dedicated chemical plant to synthesize the raw materials for, way to much industrial capacity for a very minor upside, and that's before you consider the fact that the raw materials still need to be assembled).
It's a massive strain on your industry and logistics chains, for a pretty minor upside.

I actually solo Project Paradise pretty regularly. I tend to spend four minutes filling up the toxic sludge, two minutes filling up the venison, and ignoring the radkelp. The bloodbug that spawns dies almost instantly, the Giant Sloth survives to round 2 (sometimes survives the whole match if it wanders near me), and I follow the Deathclaw around killing everything that gets near it and spamming it with my medic gun when it gets low. When the Alpha shows up I make sure to put myself between it and the Deathclaw and just auto axe it down.

I've soloed every event now and the hardest one has to be Radiation Rumble, the only way I've found is to be in the tunnel as it starts, grab 10 ore ASAP and spend the rest of the time babysitting. Solo Eviction Notice is surprisingly comfy, simply sit on the generator and kill everything that waddles up to you.

Anyway it was the top of the hour and we just got a good turnout to see a robot marry a bucket for the 5,000th time.

I think the only thing in Fallout 76 that a human being absolutely cannot do solo is Raid stage 2. Bizarrely, I feel like stage 4 is EASIER solo, although extra hands are always welcome for 1, 3 and 5.

Things like weight (both the water jacket and water inside), the logistical strain of needing to ship all that water around. Quick change barrels being a thing, honestly one of the big things that render water cooled guns obsolete. If the gun barrel gets too hot and starts getting soft, just twist it off and pop a new one on. Can't do that with a water cooled barrel.

76 is enough of a babygame that foids can just engage almost purely with the social aspect of it. All of the autistically decorated CAMPs and Best Builds I've ever visited were made not only by female players but ones who also were pretty often there themselves chatting people up, trading and dicking around with the decorations, games, etc.
As for the second thing I can at least attest as a West Virginian that when the game came out, it appeared on our local news and was a big hit. Occasionally I get the urge to make a throwing weapon mod for 3/nv because chucking weapons at people is funny to me, but at the end of the day there's too much overlap that it becomes redundant.

Like adding a throwing kitchen knife or cleaver doesn't even need modding, just changing the weapon animations in the geck, then there's stuff like hammers and other objects that could be added by just changing their xyz coordinates in nifskope. But in the end a throwing cleaver is no different then the hatchet that's already in the game, and idk maybe give the hammer fatigue damage, or the cosmic knife in dead money fire damage, so in the end the weapons wouldn't be different enough mechanically to spend the time making them.

The problem with bashing was always the retarded spit and glue way it was implemented, which made it very difficult to take advantage of. The Handmade Rifle's large Bayonet and the Black Powder Rifle's bayonets are really the only Bashing mods that don't suck shit, and getting good Bash damage almost always requires you to build your character in a way that gimps them in other ways, which negates the benefits of bashing.

I have about 500 stable flux and 2000 ultracite scrap in my junk box and I have literally never sought them out, it just accumulated from raids and boss events

So I'm in trouble after I craft... 60,000 rounds. Oof.

Even then I currently feel a bizarre urge to throw together a Prime Fixer and just do expeditions until I've banked a quarter million to go with my quarter million Ultracite Plasma Cartridges
