Oh no, it's more like nostalgia in conjunction with liking varied RPG monster staples. I enjoy additions that make me want to fight them in a dungeon- it adds variety to the gameplay experience itself. I mean having a roster Full of the same dragon body type can be cool too, but moreso for using them on my own team rather than fighting them. I like having both- cool mons for my team while also having different RPG monsters represented in suitable environments. Dokugumon is creepy as fuck and would really set the scene/atmosphere for a spooky dark forest cave for example.

Crack Team has a lot of potential out of all the other groups because of how or goes all the way back to Digimon from the classic vpets and has lore to build on and an easy excuse to make new Digimon for them. But I'd worry it wouldn't be in the Digital World enough.


Vortex Warriors and Witchelny Digimon and game set in Witchelny would have the second most potential but Pteromon is so new it's be forever if we saw if. We'd get a whole new Digital World with an excuse for them to be really creative with paudo fantasy stuff like castles made of computer parts or some shit. And they could make tons of new Witchelny and Vortex Warrior Digimon.

Legendary Warriors would be pretty great but I'm not sure if anyone even cares about them. They could set it in the ancient digital world but since time strangers has time travel already I don't know what else they could do. They could add all the ancient digimon who werenimporrant at the time like Sphinxmon and Ukkomon.

Bancho, and Three Musketeers seem way too small and should just be sidequests in another game too. Although I guess you could expand on the DBrigade. Big death generals are weird and sidequests material. Legends Arms seem small and abandoned rightnow I guess they could add more but

Demon Lords ve Great Angels might be cool. Especially if they added their X Antibodies and how DarkKnightmon wants to kill one to replace him. But they're not as exciting because they're not as new and and angels and demons in games are pretty common

Habu could have given us the other 7 Volcamon evolutions which is the only other group I can think of.

Crack Team has a lot of potential out of all the other groups because of how or goes all the way back to Digimon from the classic vpets and has lore to build on and an easy excuse to make new Digimon for them. But I'd worry it wouldn't be in the Digital World enough.


Vortex Warriors and Witchelny Digimon and game set in Witchelny would have the second most potential but Pteromon is so new it's be forever if we saw if. We'd get a whole new Digital World with an excuse for them to be really creative with paudo fantasy stuff like castles made of computer parts or some shit. And they could make tons of new Witchelny and Vortex Warrior Digimon.

Legendary Warriors would be pretty great but I'm not sure if anyone even cares about them. They could set it in the ancient digital world but since time strangers has time travel already I don't know what else they could do. They could add all the ancient digimon who werenimporrant at the time like Sphinxmon and Ukkomon.

Bancho, and Three Musketeers seem way too small and should just be sidequests in another game too. Although I guess you could expand on the DBrigade. Big death generals are weird and sidequests material. Legends Arms seem small and abandoned rightnow I guess they could add more but RagnaLordmon seems like he would be a good character for these games.

Demon Lords ve Great Angels might be cool. Especially if they added their X Antibodies and how DarkKnightmon wants to kill one to replace him. But they're not as exciting because they're not as new and and angels and demons in games are pretty common

Habu could have given us the other 7 Volcamon evolutions which is the only other group I can think of.

Just installed a mod to Cyber Sleuth that adds voice acting (Spanish) to every single special attack including the ones from modded Digimon and it makes such a freaking world of difference, now the Digimon feel actually alive instead of just being programs.
It's a grievance I've always had with CS. Nokia gets to have two Digimon acting like sentient beings while I run around just using them as silent soldiers that get constantly recycled, like my mons aren't -real- Digimon like hers.
Also added anime music to the battles so it feels more epic, and it also makes such an incredible difference to have classicmons from World 1 and the anime in wild battles, I never knew how much CS was lacking, we don't even have Mummymon, Arukenimon and MaloMyotismon, nor Chimeramon / Millie, the big bads from 02 are all missing.

I like the idea if 02 evolutions that match Vmon evolving into Vdramon instead of ExVmon. They all match classic Digimon.
(Obviously Patamon and Tailmon would lol but Tailmon's OG style with the ring is way more oldschool Digimon like and Unimon was one of Patamon's other evos. Their attacks even go from Air Shot to Holy Shot.) And then this way its easier to think of evolutions for them.

Can someone explain this train of logic to me. If anything, they've made tons of changes already that would've improved pvp, and those changes have made me look forward even more to doing pvp. But without pvp the changes have lost impact.

Beforehand it was pretty much all offense with a select few dedicated support mons, but tanking wasn't really a valid strategy as everything only had one resistance. Now we have digimon that can double resist multiple things (something might double resist both a data fire and data ice attack). We also have new moves that even induce aggro ("follow me"). Tanks would've actually had an interesting role in pvp this time around.

Also being able to swap mons without wasting a turn was something I was very curious in seeing in pvp (I heard it had a cool down on it too, so you'd need to strategically decide who would be best to swap at a given time).

Honestly, yeah, PVP is really cool but in Digimon, it's kind of useless and a waste of time in general.
It'll work for a month or so, then activity will just go down due to being a single player-focused game.
When I heard that Cyber Sleuth had a PVP mode, I thought that was amazing, especially because you can make it work even with Digimon mods, but it's a rare game to see people on really.

It's just hard to balance both a single player game and PvP at the same time so they probably don't want to waste the time/resources. If they want to try and keep PvP active they would need to balance it, they would need to keep nerfing whatever broken thing comes up and that would affect the single player (iirc CS had the triple Ulforceveedramon strat that they had to nerf, I don't know how effective that was for singleplayer though). If any cheaters show up they need to spend resources on them or the PvP mode dies to them anyway

Things to criticize:
- Post-Crusadermon's first apparition, the plot is everywhere. You get Eaters and wild Digimon invading, Royal Knights, and the goddamn occult club. Though it finally goes back to focus on important things after a bit.
- They literally forgot about Fei in the ending. They forgot so much about her that now I wonder if she's just a ghost or something from EDEN/Digimon World.
- Some major plot decisions were damn odd. Especially when Gallantmon chases after Arata. Like Jesus, go help.
- Overused zones, routes, etc. I think this is one of my biggest criticism, the fact that Royal Knights, Banchoumon and Barbamon would share the same zone atmosphere as Eaters was so odd.
- The OST was hit or miss. Great songs, but on intense moments, it kinda fell off.

The characters honestly? They were all ten out of ten. The only one I really didn't like or found an eyeroller was Ryota. I just didn't like him.
My biggest favorite was Kyoko but a close second was Nokia. Just extremely likable characters. I was growing fond of Yuuko until one of her awful comments during the blocking wall scene. After that, I was just OK with her.

The game made me like Royal Knights three times more. Very great designs all around.
I love the game because the mods make it even better.
8.5 out of 10. I'd give it a 9 if the battle OST were a goddamn great like DW2 or DW3.

I know Dragon Ball Fusions FOR THE 3DS, NO LESS an extremely underpowered console could generate in real time millions of possible fusions. They didn't exist per se in the game but if your streetpass character touched with another one, a random fusion would be generated on the spot because all elements were mergeable or something like that.

Every mega Digimon who doesn't have an existing DNA fusion should be programmed to be able to access Chaosmon just extending the head mesh over the helmets, I'm sure it's way easier to code than it sounds like.
