Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands are the best starting zones ever added to an MMO. The gold/white/red aesthetic, the sad melodramatic music, the variety in enemy mobs, the quests being not too far but not too close apart, the elite bosses being difficult but not unbeatable, solid reputation rewards, fun class quests. It has everything, no other zone even comes close.
