We just confederated both Priam and Hector on the same turn. The problems are that our administrative burden has dramatically increased and that our titanic stockpile of food is about to be used up in a single turn.

People were discussion how to implement more human pirate units but I don't like how Nanu's overhaul handled it. It gives the human equivalent of the zombie units, but the devs created a fun dichotomy between the two that should be respected. Zombie pirates are a stationary wall of HP that shoots stuff from across the map, human pirates are a glass cannon melee-rush faction with some fun tricks up their sleeves. Any new units they add for the human pirates should respect this.They should be fast, hit hard, and they should melt to ranged fire.

She shouldn't be a Border Princes faction. They're just Cathay, but Italian and will never exist. Let her keep her undead pirate units and pass the living ones around. Pirates will work for anyone for the right price. Maybe give Noct an upkeep increase for them since he's such a dick.

Just Skarsnik her. She is Skarsnik and the human units are her Night Goblins.Give her a faction buff for them, give her a custom garrison with them. Add a couple interesting variations of them.

Now prepare for my ingenious OC ideas

Warhammer is the only game in the series that actually has a "you need to buy this DLC to have fun with this faction" but even there it depends on which faction it is. I wouldn't necessarily say any unit in the Sengoku Jidai pack is a must have or you lose the campaign but most of them are very strong and if you don't want multiple factions to have entirely identical rosters you're gonna need it. The Hero unit pack is the useless one.

It's funny. With many races like Chaos and Greenskins, the race in the game who's gameplay encourages the destruction of all other races, are the dwarfs, thanks to their Legendary Grudges.
If you want to complete them they include occupying settlements or making sure they are under other dwarfs. Thus include places like Athel Loren so you basically need to destroy the Welves. You have to destroy the High Elves and they're likely to be friends with the other order races so you probably need to fight them too. And your grudges system basically encourages fighting constantly.

Yeah, Elspeth is the easier overall campaign but does Gelt have the easier earlygame? Having a helstorm rocket battery as a starting unit just melts through his first main enemies which are Dark Elves (weak to artillery) and Skaven (really weak to artillery)

in my L/VH Tamurkhan campaign my lands were entirely at the mercy of Kislev, the Dwarfs, Cathay and Gelt. I turned into a refugee, sacking Cathayan cities with my four armies while trying to reach Grimgor, who had eaten up Zhatan during the truce I was forced into in order to kill Archaon. I still would have gotten a Long Victory by wiping out Grimgor and teleporting to Nuln via cult, but man, was everybody sacking and conquering my settlements all the time a turn-off. I ultimately just stopped playing.

Even if they didnt have armor advantage, they'd have 45% hit chance against Swordmen who would only hit 25% of the time - factoring in routing Jade Warrior unit would come out with 50% hp or more against similar-cost Swordmen. Then factor in their ranged is better (shielded + armored and elites are curved shot AP with longer range than handgunners). Jade Warrior/Crossbowmen/Fire Rain Rocket stack is ridiculously cost-efficient and simple.

Maybe this is with the new AI settings but when I played Tamurkhans campaign, Archaon and Arbaal wanted to be my friend early on so I just signed a non-aggression pact with him and it let me have my flank secured as I went to town on Grimgors shitstack armies, the only issue I had is that Cathay and Gelt kept me locked up in a constant war so I had to take over Cathay before turning around and heading towards Nuln, ended up in a longass campaign to Nuln that it got a bit tedious but whatever, it was easy mode throughout

when you start the game you typically have one region with basic infrastructure, a starting army, and an obvious expansion route. you can basically follow a step by step guide for your first few turns until you are established in your starting province, and from there you can basically just flowchart your development to get to a working economy. ai factions start in the exact same situation because they are also possible player factions. why can't ca program them to follow the same basic instructions as a player following a guide to get to a point where they are able to recruit strong armies? why do they have to have economy cheats and recruitment cheats and ar cheats?
