I love my favorite Sonic character very much but sometimes I imagine a villain brutally torturing them psychologically physically and sexually in the most painful ways I can think of. After spending nearly 10 years here it's interesting seeing the way moderators slowly just gave up on the place and the threads also stopped self-policing. There used to be an outright refusal to create completely sfw cream or rouge OPs here and mods would outright nuke the entire thread if you used them as an OP. If the OP was a low quality shitpost everyone would just avoid posting in your thread until a proper one was made. Suggestive but sfw content also used to get you banned, the posts with the cropped porn were always nuked. People would firmly redirect you to the sonic porn general on trash. If you shitposted or spammed you were usually banned. The threads would also last 2+ days. We'd wait until the general was on page 7 - 10 before a new thread instead of making it before or at the bump limit.
Nowadays mods warn people who report cropped porn/spamming/shitposting for ''false reporting''. Its weird.

These are my honest, unironic opinions.
Shadria is a great ship. I am too in love with it. I am far from an expert on the characters, but I know I care for them.
I don't have any hatred in my soul for other ships, but for Shadow, I just don't like them.
At most, other ships are a good exersize to explore why Maria was a better fit.
I can imagine that in the impossible circumstance that Shadow ends up with Maria, the other girl learns about Maria and realizes the weight of what Shadow lost. But even that is pushing it. I can't imagine Shadow dating or marrying. Not the Shadow we know.
Sonic? All but one of his ships are out of the question. The less I say about that, the better.

Knuckles being stationary means Sonic, the MC, has to come to him and that's simply not something Sonic should be worried about. Sonic should first and foremost be globetrotting to new locales, not retreading old ground. Knuckles is emblematic of why Sonic only needs powerful yet ultimately fairweather encounters with his "cast".

Knuckles being tied to the Master Emerald is fine, it's Sonic Team that's the problem; they've been throwing shit at the wall and misuising the IP since '06.
