Delayed attacks like the watchdogs sword slam are also more worthy of complaint because one frame he has the sword lifted and the next frame its slammed into the ground. The only tell that hes about to slam the sword is the ears drop first. something you wont notice or know the first time you fight it, making it lean towards being inherently trial and error.
Noobies dont differentiate between inherent trial and error that forces defensive playstyle and their personal trial and error from playing carelessly because they dont understand the game well yet.

Shit can vary depending on what talismans you got/your character, but there's really no excuse to die so often when there's shit like this in the game, at least try getting a single damage negation at full hp.

If you're routing correctly you can end nearly every game at 15 and this in addition to your purchases.
The relics themselves are to help with moment to moment gameplay.
Stamina enables you to use your dodge more to trigger your offset restage. It also enable you to use certain spells and go directly into your dagger chain to completion. You don't get to do that normally until higher levels.
Dagger reprise is self explanatory. If your team is doing good damage there is no other rune you can slot there that will contribute more damage to your run. And if your team is doing bad damage there is no rune you can lot there that will contribute more personal damage.
Improved character skill attack power is a 10% boost on restage. The Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage attacks is self expalnatory. You can better take advantage of negations, epecially the combo of damage taken and full hp.

Duchess has 11 in strength and a visible stat rank of D in strength, her arcane is C rank but has the same points as strength. Even though her arcane is so low she has comparable status build up to executor given enough time due to her class ability, arguably more in a team setting because her ability is boosted by everyones status build up. duchess can use faith spells adequately and depending on boss weakness and the circumstances of the run faith might be her best bet. Her faith is 27 which isnt terrible and makes it a viable choice vs some bosses. In fact with 3 +3 faith talismans it puts her at 35, only 6 points lower than her int which could make faith her optimal school if the boss was weak to holy/lightning., given how cost efficient discus is it could even turn her into a viable full time faith spellcaster vs nightlords that simply arent resistant to holy.

Duchess' entire life revolves around her restage but her fast attack speed, great dodges, and decent stat spread makes her able to use nearly every single dormant power and equipment passive in the game. Her faith isn't complete ass so if she takes casting dormant powers her incants can reach respectable heights.
Executor fits nearly every single roll off of his starting loadout alone. Tanks like a guardian, fast and great guard counter, good mobility, an extremely versatile ult that can be used to revive 3 bars, stagger like a (admittedly lower) wylder, stunlock like a guardian, and stagger like a raider.
But if you can't deflect (and by proxy completely miss out on the art charge from guard counters and his cursed sword R2) he's just a one trick pony who falls apart the second you see a deathrite bird

My friends are just not good enough to be able to beat gigadel. One is down with 3 bars before he is at half HP no matter what class he plays. The others can normally survive for a little longer but not by much then it's just me slowly losing flasks to occasional mistakes and eventually going down when the boss around 1/3 - 1/4 health.
I have not lost a game against him with randoms but, but I'm not good enough to carry my friends. I don't think they'll beat him before he is gone.

Usually STR/FTH builds are actually just STR builds that can cast buffs and some basic spells like Heals, status cleanse and throw rocks for ranged until higher levels where you can stack up on FTH.

I really like playing as Revenant but I like Weapon Buffs more than I do "actual" spells, but considering it's not hard to fill your inventory with 10 Starlight Shards it feels like griefing to not just spam spells constantly.

revenant has a weak start so hoarfrost is a very good starting weapon art, there are others too
lightning spear is very strong in general against most things that aren't the boss, and against three bosses it performs very well
discus is strong period, it's not even particularly strong on adel either, it just still performs well and it's very easy to double hit him given his very predictable movement, that was a looser run than most where he was flopping around a lot comparatively

I really don't know though I can't even find coherent information about how incantation/sorcery scaling works (the number on the seal/staff) and what does and doesn't affect it. In my experience as a caster it was at best underwhelming for the effort but got the increased evade window passive buff almost every time we did it and that's huge for me.
