Does a tank/dps/healer setup matter at all in the game? I was running triple DPS until the mines, where I went Shikari, Knight and White Mage and since then the game has been very easy, even with limited gambits. Now that I have a full roster, are there any hidden stats or passives I should be aware of, or will I be fine making any character any class?

Say it goes down to just weapons, Noctis wins again having a much larger arsenal and being proficient with each type. Even Firearms and Machines. We never actually see feats of astounding swordsmanship from Clive, in cutscenes he comes off as a brawler with it more than any finesse. Relying on strength more than anything else.
Now I like Clive way more than Noctis as a character, but Clive isn't stronger than him.
Noctis and Lighting(literally becomes God) are pretty much THE top of FF powers at their peaks.

Square Enix only answers that they are indeed aware of Clair Obscur and do agree that turn-based systems are part of their origins.
