The knight is an amalgamate that needs to have new monster dust infused to stop it from dying (along with Dess's body or something). That's what the sacrifices are for.

Carol and her conspirators used Shyra as the last sacrifice (who was killed sometime between the Susie diner flashback and now) - this may have been why Monster Kid and Snowdrake were so scared of the bunker.


They were planning on using Gerson's dust next, but Alvin found out, and that's why he moved the hammer into the church as early as the day before in chapter 2.

So instead, they took Undyne since it also conveniently took out a code holder

Love that the two schizo manlets live in Kris's pocket, this doesn't happen for any of the other secret bosses/Ramb, it's just those 2.

Pretty much every Darkner to turn into a statue always goes back to normal at the end of the day, which was the closest thing to death they had. So far, Tenna's the only Darkner we've seen die and never come back. Spamton should be dead no matter what route you do, but Snowgrave's the only route where he actually dies for real and doesn't have the scene with Tenna in chapter 3. It's hard to say how they work.

In the game that Ramb set up, there's a point where pixel Kris is basically wandering through a city that is almost a dead ringer for Cyber City's backalleys. Then continuing on from that, when pixel Kris gets access to freeze magic, one of the enemies that blocks you from proceeding to a new area is a bird that you have to freeze. I think this happens regardless if you went Snowgrave, so there must be some knowledge Kris, the Soul, Ramb, or whoever that information is being pulled from has access to that we're just not privy to. Ultimately, the Soul is just as much a character as the others, they just happen to be who we have to see the game through most of the time.

To get more information, we have to dig a bit deeper. Susie says "[Ralsei] is practically a walking teddy bear" and indeed his strength stat isn't very high. Given he's lived a life of solitary study, it's unlikely he has much muscle, which is reflected by his strength stat being the weakest among the trio, and he will be outperformed by Kris and Susie in just about every physical activity, relying on magic to keep up with them (and potentially also implying his low body weight). You could safely assume hugging Ralsei would feel like hugging nothing more than a soft, malleable ball of fuzz.

For the knife hallway I found that if I move almost (not touching it, leave some space space) all the way to the left wall and look to the right at where the knives are coming from to predict where to move, I can get through that one without too much damage. For the screen slice if you cling to the walls a small distance away from the corner you can usually have enough time to move out of the way no matter what direction the box is sliced they come from. Also, for the last snowflake attack, you can predict when it's going to happen when the knight does the circular red slash move. You'll get a buffer turn to heal, then when it starts glowing you should defend on your Shadow Mantle holder (Susie) and hold your breath on Kris.
