On the other hand, Sinh is the best dragon fight in the series (elden ring included), and has plenty of spectacle himself. I think he really hits the sweetspot when it comes to the concept of a proper flying dragon vs knight fight that a lot of the others miss the mark on, by either being too annoying with how far the boss flies when it does, or feeling more like fighting a fire-breathing helicopter than a fantastical winged monster that is the master of the skies. His relatively small size makes seeing what he's doing and hitting him less annoying than other dragons, and I also really enjoy how big a role durability plays in the fight (although they admittedly could have toned it down a bit by at least fixing how it's tied to framerate).

i actually think Wylder having hoarfrost on his starting weapon and just using it the whole game is the way.
His skill follow up and his ultimate with lingering fire allow him to always reset it on demand and the damage/stagger actually seems to be quite good at all stages of the game.

Is it a hot take that I would rather play something like Dark Souls Nightreign than Elden Ring Nightreign?
I got really excited for Nightreign when it was announced, but I really dislike the open world setting. I would much rather play more of a Hades-like deal where I choose the next room based on the opponent/reward than run around the map. I know most of the dynamic gameplay in Nightreign is running around trying to get more powerful before the circle closes, but I just wanted to be put in a room with some shit to fight

Unsurprisingly 2h takes slightly longer before it can act at the end of it's combo and it's first hit is slightly slower.
2h has the best reach as you've said but has lower forward movement.
It's the safest to use on certain bosses and crucible knights due to the lower animation commitment between attacks. Better to use for bosses with jank hitboxes like ancestral spirit, queen, and if you don't want to manually aim, kindred, avatar, and 3dog from the front.
But it also uses substantially more stamina. webm related
Obviously regens less stamina (if you're using the relic)
and triggers every successive attack slower and less often
In my opinion,

Miasma + Wise is good because it also boosts damage against enemies afflicted with their respective status, but it falls off harder against things that are immune.
Chilling Mist or Poison Mist are great in my opinion because they're the perfect skill to use after a crit to get a status going due to their clouds.
