My pipe dream for the weird route is that it turns into a meta horror of sorts where Noelle becomes too powerful and actively sabotages your save file if you opt out of making her stronger. It just turns into a never ending game where after she can one shot everything, you can only control the soul in a prison she lovingly made for you. She's knows you enjoy playing and wants to ensure you never have the ability to stop as thanks.

This route is about your rapid rise and the inevitable downfall of evil. Itโs an evolution of the pacifist route ideas from Undertale, where the core message is that you should let the characters live their lives. That you should respect their needs, desires, and thoughts. That you shouldnโt turn into a tyrant just because you can.
Recall Floweyโs dialogue after the true pacifist runโwell, the weird route is a development of those ideas. Itโs about how your evil in the game isnโt something Toby approves of.

On the normal route, you can do whatever you want with enemies, pick whatever dialogue options you want, explore whatever you want, fight whatever extra bosses you want, and the game keeps going. On the weird route, at least in weird route-specific scenes, you HAVE to pick specific dialogue options, you HAVE to freeze all the enemies, you HAVE to fight Spamton Neo, and you CAN'T explore and find easter eggs like the egg man. In chapter 4, the dialogue options become the same (Proceed/Proceed, Equip/Equip) and eventually disappear entirely during that one creepypasta moment. The Shadow Mantle even points out that you won't really get what you want, presumably freedom, out of it:

I can't believe people are still unironically arguing that Kris is some non-binary rep. There are more important things to worry about than people calling him a he. Anyway on to the real reason I'm here: I have a ton of working theories and I need someone to debate them. The first one is that someone other than Kris or the Roaring Knight created Ralsei's dark world. In chapter 3, certain native darkners like Ramb turned to stone while Lancer, Roulxs, and the Pippins did not. Similarly, in the church world certain darkners were stone and Susie's dark world switched which were stone and which weren't. Lancer and Rouxls also weren't present in chapter 4 at all. Since this indicates there's some level of compatibility involved and it's clear Kris's worlds are hospitable to Lancer/Rouxls but not the Zappers and Susie's world was compatible with the wicabels/organikks but they didn't appear later on, that the "pure" dark fountain has to be made by someone else, since everyone is compatible there.

What are some game mechanics TF can add to the fight/encounter sections in future chapters that have not been done as of yet? I had this idea for a game mechanic where a โsuicidalโ super boss enemy forces Kris to attack and land hits on themselves AND Krisโ other party members and the player has to balance healing while still trying to spare the enemy and having control of only Ral and Susie.
