It does certain things cleverly, like dialogue and subtle reveals.

However if you were to rate the story’s throughput, meaning how it handles the core concepts the setting is built on, then really on 1.3 handles that so far. That’s the actual story of the game, the rest is basically filler. Good filler, but still filler.
