I was thinking at first this was a poor man's Swordcraft deck, until I realized spawning a Storm/Ward 2/2 unit every turn from turn 2-3/6 is a death by a thousand cuts that they cannot ignore thanks to the Ward, so your main strat is gonna be spamming Otohime's Fan every turn you can, and unless they build a bigger board that threatens to kill you next turn, ignore everything and attack face.

You still have answers for opposing swarms in Apollo and Berserker, with Dragonslayer there to kill Wards getting in the way of your attacks/big monsters threatening to kill you next turn. I would probably change Liu Feng for another Dragonslayer, since ramping up never comes up with this deck and I always discard her for the Fan effect.

Zahar is there in case you're losing the midgame and need to control the pace for a turn before going back to attack face, since they have to answer your Ward and your Intimidate dragon. Trencher is there in case Forte doesn't show up in turn 7-forward, but in most cases you're gonna discard it for Fan.
Vigilant Detective is there to confirm kills when you're against Ward-heavy decks, but feel free to discard her too if you think you're not gonna need her.

Maybe, I tend to try and be aggro early. Puppet just feels like "do they have 2 + Orchis and then Mecha?" sort of thing, you basically got to always hold Medusas to clear Orchis and often waste a super evo on a Ceres just to pray Mecha won't kill you. You can't aggro enough unless you get Beryl turn 1 and 2 going second to make it meaningful.

Lapis would have been good if she was like a 4 cost maybe less.

At turn 5+ you're entirely dependant on Salefa to do board wipes.

I slept on vlad for a while, but the heal 5 comes in clutch a lot along with the fact that it's target removal.
Abyss has access to a lot of good healing so the damage 2 for 2 draw is usually good, there are very few times even against aggro when I'm upset that I draw him, his evo skill is also target removal so it is also flexible in getting board control.
I liked juggler when I first started but I eventually cut him because playing him even on curve felt too slow and it required setup like getting ceres/mukan killed to get any decent value. I would honestly rather just drop ceres turn 6 for the super evo and then use the draw 2 spell on her since it can't kill her.

I have filled out all golds and am 3 away from filling out all legendaries. Aragavy, Olivia, and Medusa are all sitting at 2 copies. So I was running juggler to compensate. Honestly Darkseal, 5 cost drawer, felt like a brick in every matchup but rune because I run a lot of skeletons and Olivia so Soul predation was simply better. But with Vlad maybe it isn't so bad, at least until I get the last copies of legendaries to compensate.

I sort of feel Darkseal + Predation + Olivia is too much draw personally, but I like to flex late and early game by also running Beryl with Cyclone since it lets you resummon her for free and you can evo for heal without the 3 damage. It's another source of healing for you and early evolution choice if you drop Vlad eventually but I am going to try him out now.
