First is locked on swords and heroic hour is a lot of attacks but are automatic and may not get the opponent you want easily but adds even more status effs on enemies easily which is great for executioner , latter can be used with any weapon and heroic hour is more flexible for attacks and movement

The weakest origins are priest and commissar.
Navy is good and works with any kind of build, but it is never the best and you have a companion with it (Abelard) so it's rarely the focus.

Ministorum is one of the strongest origins. Active ability is free Momentum and Flensing Faith adds a flat modifier to all damage you do before multipliers that also works against the final boss of every act except 1. Mutlihit melee weapons/abilities get to add the bonus damage to every hit as well which is just gravy.

From testing on Hard/Unfair I'm pretty sure a Ministorum Warrior is the only origin/class combo that can kill the 3 drukhari after you crawl out of the dump in act 3.

So what are some kino origin/class/play style combos I can do that are thematic?

I always default to a sniper because it's easiest to do.

Preferably something that isn't already covered by a companion unless I can pivot the companion out from it (i.e. pivot argenta away from flamers or bolters)

Noble Officer is in the cover, Imoerial Guard from Fortress world is the pure joy of shooting, Warrior with a chainsaw into any direction is hilarious.

It's really the ultimate challenge in the D&D realm. There is nothing else out there. No other game, definitely not the newest release, and no other Baldurs Gate 2 mod either. SCS simply doesn't cut it if you are looking for a challenge.

The output of one who switches melee and ranged does not match a specialist, offers no meaningful tactical advantages, and is not worth investment in talents that you can use for a specialist. And it would either hinder you in the early game where any semblance of challenge exists, or possibly sorta come togetehr with exemplar levels where you already steamroll everything and you do it less efficiently than a focused build anyway.

Can you make a technically viable build? Possibly.
Just like Meltas are technically viable, but anyone who has played the game can agree that there is no real reason to pick them over any other gun.

Can you actually offer a build for an MC that works throughout the game(like coming online at act 2 and actually offering something good)? Or will you cry like a bitch and not post anything resembling proof and pretend it's because you do not want to spoonfeed?

Late game Necrons are less challenging than Anvers Gangers on Footfall as a result. If you are even halfway competent at building your party, this games combat might as well be an auto battler, there is no real strategy, no real tactics, your characters builds just come online and you Alpha Strike everything to death with ease. Officer is hardly the only way to break this game apart, as usual Owlcat do not how to build up a games difficulty and instead the inverse happens, and late game fights are among the easiest in the game because your parties power scales much higher and faster than the enemies power does. It's one of the worst parts about the game, and it kills replayability since there's no real challenge in the combat at all.

Soldier has talents specifically for area attacks (including one that uses Demolition to boost damage)..
Bounty Hunter lets you boost single attacks for your flamer decently and do extra attacks against bounties, Arch Militant discounts heavy flamers and lets you build stacks if you switch to a non area attack weapon (one that has more attacks for soldier heroic hour would be good).

I just don't get how anyone can like the first wave of CRPG's, that includes Ultima (the OG's), Fallout 1 and 2 and games like that were just an insane leap in terms of quality and gameplay, unless you want to play basically more autistic versions of OG Final Fantasy and Pokemon.

The art/enemies were somewhat unique and cool though, shame about the rest of the game though.

But objectively RT companions > BG3 companions. Even Jae, I didn't like her that much from the beginning as a romance partner, slowly built good relationship events and finally at Commoragh, I really ended up liking her. RT has the best companion character building in the entire Owlcat games and personally, it is the best CRPG in that regard in my experience. The only thing that worries me is Owlcat not making up for this in Dark Heresy. Looking back, guess I enjoy very flawed people, who need to overcome their own fundamental character in some way. Redemption stories. Both as a roleplay for my PC or companions. My first BG3 playthrough was as a Dark Urge with Lae'zel, Astarion and swapping the goodboy companions for contrast. And in Owlcat I tend to choose options conflicting with the main route, if they line up with my characters flaws or ego. Failure is appealing, if it sets up an exciting dramatic story paths.

You stop after every encounter to level up 6 characters with unique class mechanics, stats and gear. I found myself constantly trying to remember all the unique terminology, rereading links, gear and figuring out what progression path should each charter take. iirc you need to finish dragon quest before doing ivory sanctum or it will half-fail. Just leave ivory sanctum for last and you are good.
And before final act 3 quest begins you are forced to wait an in-game month. If you have no morale boosting actions left while you wait it can decrease a bit too low. But it's hard to get into this situation.
Tavern in act 1 is pretty much the only time sensitive thing you need to consider in the whole game.

He even attracts an entire fellowship so his own fellowship is extremely high. As for why voidborn, his incredible luck held throughout his entire journey except for two instances.

Werglia said he thought DLC was good overall, disappointed by last boss fight though. He was given save games to see main content of the DLC - the fights and story points. He said the main problem in his eyes is that the game is trivially easy past early game even on fair and the new classes and items just make it easier.
He also said Solomorne has the most involvement in story content out of all companions since he is heavily tied in with the DLC questline, if you have him it feels "like the longest companion questline" so that's great if you want that I guess.

Servoskulls are really cool and enable some big exploitstacking (and of course, to spread officer buffs if you're into that, even giving extra turns to multiple folk)
Raven allows you to spread out debuffs and psyker buffs like mad, seems pretty good, roots enemies down too, it's heroic seems really strong, you can attack it and it blasts enemies with the attack (dunno how damage calc works or if it dies by your attack or what) I could see some AoE molten beams being silly, if that even works
