You don't have to scale anything down, just turn off the machines. This way you can easily use a single basic generator to keep your shield going. This is the only necessary upkeep since taxes are deducted from banked solaris automatically, fuel is the only concern. A quick buggy trip to mine a few fuel cubes is enough for months of shield uptime, at the minor cost of you needing to login for a couple minutes one time every 3 weeks.

Wilds is a disappointment to me even as a long time monhun fan. It is by far the easiest MH game ever and with godawful performance to boot. The typical gameplay grind of getting new mats is fairly meaningless this time because you get drowned in rewards for some reason. This leads to what minimal content is available only running out even sooner than it otherwise would.

All this said, for only 20 euros its good enough. Full price however? Nah. Just be careful about how it runs on your pc and be ready to refund if need be.

all they had to do was make the DD a faction based area to fight over. Imagine getting to pick a faction each DD wipe and going out protecting NPC harvesters and getting a cut once they return to your factions base thats protected by NPC soldiers and turrets. If they did something like that then wouldnt have had to deal with the thousands of players complaining about being ganked.
We could have had PvE raids in DD too, imagine storming fremen sietches or sardukar fobs for loot and having to worry about the enemy faction coming in and fucking you over or if one faction got too strong a NPC smuggler faction would help out of the losing side for a cut of the spice farmed until things balanced out

You have to travel to one of the faction hubs, Arakeen or Harko. Visit any trade post and talk to the pilot, for 2.5k they will take you there. Once you have your own thopter, you can fly there for free.

You'll easily find the npc for paying taxes there. You can also bank your money and have taxes be deducted from there automatically, rather than needing to travel to town for it.

Walking barely triggers them, vehicles do a bit but not nearly as bad as you would think.

However the crash ship itself with attract the worm, eventually it will come and eat it even if no one is around. Add in the fact that people will typically drive to/land on it, use their cutter which pisses the worm off and use their suspension belt which really pisses it off and before you know it; worm attack.

The focus of FFA PVP should be centered on the spice and nothing else.

Trouble is they have spice in haggis basin and use spice in gear recipes which means spice access will eventually be used to let people overpower themselves. Too many devs don't understand you can't create feedback loops where controlling a specific resource makes you better at controlling that resource. I know they want and need to make spice valuable but they're making it far too enticing to start a gear treadmill when that's the last thing you want in PVP.

Definitely play the Auction House if you have lots of high level schematics and want quick Solari.
I've been doing at least five back back Testing Station runs in the PVE area of DD. All six stations have decent gear and schematics which sell well on the AH, provided you're willing to undercut by a few percentage.
Combined with questing, I have close to 2 million Solari now. They'll be used for cosmetics and other stuff in the future.

because the broader issue with PVP is the dominance of air power, and so this is there first stab at changing it. Coupled with the PVP area shrinking, they will make more known places to have battles over resources, which will reduce the need for scouting.

Its part of increasing risk for pilots; once they get that MANPAD rolled out, an armed thopter will have reduced speed to get away from ground players that can shoot them down. you can use it the way lizards with detachable tails do to save your life. worms will target the loudest object when they aggro. the thumper is louder than everything but hotzman tech/shields. if one breaches near you and you're too far from land, you can drop a thumper and take off and it will target the thumper even though it originally breached for you. can also save allied players or their vehicles this way.

I dont get it. The radiation zone has four cosmic chests and all the risk/time you have to spend to get them. But the DD has 6 in labs and its piss easy and faster. Why bother with the rad zone.
