No you just get the middle kirac nodes usually. Also make sure to check kiracs shop because he sells maps you’re missing at a very high rate. With scouting reports too you should have no trouble filling out your atlas, except for a few of the rare unique maps, but you’ll get those eventually anyways just by playing if you want to save money. You also get two other talent trees so it’s okay if you fuck up your first one. Also respec orbs are hella cheap it’s like 5 minutes of playtime for 100 orbs once you get geared.

I am right about how the loot seed works. When you first kill a mob on a new account/new character you get a 1 out of N chance for it to drop currency. Modifiers to item quant change the variable. For each mob you kill that doesn't drop currency you get an entropy value. That value ticks down as you kill mobs until you get enough kills for the currency to drop and that resets again. Then another variable occurs a weighted system to determine which currency drops. This is generally how currency drops and item drops work.

+2 gems is pretty much useless for melee. It's a much more powerful mod for spell gems as they scale a lot more heavily with +gem levels
T1 ASPD and T1 crit are good but it will take too long to actually turn those into something useable. You'd need to clear the prefixes and get lucky with getting something else and doing that in SSF isn't worth the time.
Lightning is dead because no one is playing ele 2h's, correct, and because you're playing physical you need a good base type (Karui Chopper) as well.
If anything it's okay to recombinate with I guess. 2/4 mods to hit

Build your item in craft of exile first, every stat line has different ilvl requirements. Nothing is higher than ilvl 86. I don’t play SSF, but my suggestion would be to keep anything you pick up that has a t1 mod you like. And then to selective recombine this with another mod, it’s like a 20% chance of success. And, to do this 10 times, until you have two items. And then recombine those two items using the 100% chance button. And, to do that whole thing 3 times. So that’s a total of 30 items. And then you’ll get a 4mod. And you’re looking to do this with bases of the highest tier, because they have the highest armor and evasion values. It’s really easy to just identify all the stuff you pick up and throw it in a tab for later if it has a t1 mod on it. If all the mods on one side of the item are highly rolled, it might be worth keeping that entire item, and then scouring off the side you don’t like, and recombining this again with another item. Definitely read the wiki page for that.

Its been well over a literal decade since I played PoE and holy shit did this game change a lot, from beating up piety three times as a rite of passage to fighting gods and nightmares and eldritch horrors.
I just finished almost all of the content and I'll be level 100 for the first time in my life. There probably won't be a repeat of this, the build crafting autism is too much for me to handle.
The music was nice, especially for breachstone maps and ultimatum, and pinnacle bosses were fun.

You can't print free (~80 div) 12L weapons anymore. You have to pay for mirror service so they're 5x as expensive starting plus tax plus tip. Aegis is a better option for poorfag defensive builds and Svalinn is a better option for richfag everything builds.

Minionfags use gem helms unless they're using the nu double minion helm, which is the only use case of Squire now. Those builds are memes and don't run hard content (so they can run nu Catarina shield instead) or they'd rather build full afk defensive with Svalinn or Aegis.

What's the gold strat for regular T16s? I've got a shitload of allflames, lots of Monstrous Lineage and Bloodlines scarabs. But I hear they are best saved for Memory maps and T17.
I average 3-8k gold per map and it sucks.
