It's like cp_dustbowl but even better. cp_dustbowl would be the perfect map if not for the ridiculous Sniper sightlines, especially the abomination that is the last point on the 3rd stage of cp_dustbowl, one of the most oppressive Sniper sightlines in the game. Have you ever dealt with a highly skilled Sniper standing next to the 4 sentries on 3rd stage cp_dustbowl last with the razorback equipped and a Vaccinator medic pocketing him? cp_junction does not have this problem, and is probably the most Sniper-hostile map in the game. It's incredibly cramped and claustrophobic. It contains all the wonderful spam, sentries and stalemates that we know and love cp_dustbowl for, while removing cp_dustbowl's most glaring flaw.

A form of cp I consider highly underrated is 3CP, found in cp_powerhouse, especially the version without that godforsaken timer. I think more mappers and even competitive players should experiment with 3CP as a gamemode. I would watch competitive and potentially even join the fray myself if comp players weren't cowards and had a grueling, hard-fought, double-edged match on cp_powerhouse. Those 3 hour long matches on cp_powerhouse with both teams coming seconds away from capping the last point before being pushed back by the enemy, who proceeds to do the same, are the purest, distilled form of Team Fortress 2 in my opinion. cp_powerhouse is the most "Team Fortress 2" map in my opinion, a match will either last 3 minutes or 3 hours with almost no middle ground.

CP is a serious gamemode enjoyed by competetive players, don't joke about it.
