Megidramon is one. Lucemon is one. Alphamon is one. There's this lore text about how its this mark or brand or symptom of things that can destroy the whole digital world but its never gotten a satisfying looksee as a phenomena rather than individual instances.
I'd love something kinda like .Hack//Sign following a mon with the digital hazard that used it like data drain to attack bugfucked mons and crush them into something defeatable, while at constant risk of becoming a reality bomb themself if abused too much

Might be overthinking it but there might be something to the digimon personality compass having the more negative types closer to the middle.

I think this new system is designed for more mid/late game collecting. Since by the time we hit say Agent Level 6-7 we'll probably be able to hit the stat requirements with the bonuses to leveling up just going your typical Baby 1>2>In-Training>Rookie and so on.

So you'd get all of the benefits if following the proper line in battle.... Or eventually you just unlock Warp Evolution and can go from Child to Mega in one click, getting all the accumulated bonuses from your line. Would give some variety to picking the right lines for your build. Or at least an excuse to engage in digivolving which is the point of the franchise

I never watched the movie, and I don't care where the form came from. It's just ridiculous looking. Bond Gabumon is OK but still doesn't read as a Mega digimon. Bond Agumon would just make me laugh my ass off because of how dumb he looks.
