Somehow, I don't think DNA Souls have anything to do with the Cyber-elves. Xtreme 2 and X6 were released only a few months from each other and they had to do last month alterations for X6 because they had no idea about its development. Since it's the same team working on these two, it's hard to believe they had Xtreme 2 in mind when designing their new innovation for Zero series. How Phantom can fight against Zero in the Cyber-Space and which are the afterlife rules for reploids are question that are going to remain unanswered

Doing yoku blocks during the BN event in slow motion was an experience. I still don't know what to think about this fusion. It's cool but not as cool as Bass.EXE is by himself. But then again it's much stronger than he is by himself. Somehow it also seems cute, which is certainly Megaman's factor at play here.

Older consoles like the NES and SNES were incredibly popular in SA long after games stopped being produced for them because they were just significantly cheaper than the newer shit. This means more people played shit like megaman 6 unironically in south america and they fucking LOVED it.
Romhacks/Emulators are also incredibly popular among poorfags (south america) and Megaman games were so formulaic that romhacks were easy to create and very plentiful, and the bootleg scene is actually very well regarded in poorfag countries.
And finally, Animax and Jetix aired the Spanish dub for the Rockman.EXE anime. Not a lot of anime got spanish dubs back in the day, its why DBZ is still so culturally relevant in south america, it was the BIGGEST spanish dub of an anime ever. So, something even a 20th of that size was gonna be culturally relevant.

In the Classic games, you often found new special weapons with aiming capabilities either 8-way or simply diagonal. These were mostly gone from the X games until Axl gameplay was created. Going to Zero, thet decided to bring aiming back for the gimmick weapon of every game. Someone can understandably not have much experience aiming in Megaman if they're coming from X to Zero or didn't use aiming weapon that much in the Classic games. But there's a difference between Classic and Zero in that regard, the screen is fixed in place in Classic and only moves with player horizontal movement while in Zero the screen can shake even when the player is performing a jump. The problem is that the Zero ending simply cuts to Zero asking to be sealed. You don't see what happens to Gate or the dialogue with Alia so there's no connection between defeating Sigma and the ending of the game. I think people claim it to happen at the end of the timeline just so X7 and X8 also fit in the timeline. It's also one of these elements that were most definitely meant to create a connection with the Zero series but it doesn't fit with the two games that came out later. There's no way for Zero ending to happen before X7 because the 102 years part.
