One enemy is marked at a time. Any enemy. Any trash enemy, currently far away, around a corner, and running away from you. There's virtually no way of maintaining momentum unless you just run soulblaze and indiscriminately aoe burn everything.

'Beetus meanwhile periodically marks only elites, permanently, with no limit. You still need to secure the kill, but the cooldown reduction buff lasts 8 seconds, and the main reasons I take it are the near-permanent +10% move speed and the massive dog damage buff.

Protocols helps to protect you from ranged attacks while you melee.
For Force, both Arbites melee unique weapons can stagger and even knockdown everything including crushers. Reducing the damage of something that can't hit back is at best debatably useful, and really only comes into play with builds that can't stagger crushers and ragers casually and Monsters (the only one that's likely to get an actual hit in is the Daemonhost, maybe a Spawn or Captain if you're in a pinch)

Castigator stance is an ***80%*** damage reduction for 10 seconds with a tiny cool down

The slug executioner shotgun is better at taking out armored enemies than the plasma gun, with zero of the downsides

The class is borderline broken, and that's why it's fun

Terminus Warrant is great depending on what guns you take

If you take the slug executioner, you can expect to have nearly 100% uptime on Ranged Justice which essentially means the keystone gives you a permanent +15% ranged damage, +20% reload speed, +50% ranged cleave and +50% suppression

At least 1 health curio if you do go with true grit, rest toughness
Cooldown reduction on all, rest to taste. Max gunner resist is hilarious with the passive toughness regen, you can just ignore them. I even contemplated bomber and flamer resist so I can just stand in the fire for longer than anyone has any right to.

Dog target node is optional. True grit is optional. Heavy investment near the top is optional, but strong. Shield plates is the first thing I'd drop. If you do, consider going down the center for monstrosity hunter, I just don't like the street smarts tax.
Make sure you push often for +75% cleave. Direct your dog into dense packs then blow it up. Use your shotgun special to melt bosses, 2 shells maximize burn, I believe you can fit in around 3-4 shots before having to load another special to maintain it.

They are both buckshot, friend. One is just dovetail patter and the other is standard conical like the regular combat shotgun. Neither have a slug except for the special; which they both have. I only find the stronger one with the choke on it useful for killing specials since it's longer range, because it can't kill Crushers particularly fast (thanks to the 4 round in the chamber limit), and the Accatran is better at dealing with scarier shit at range due to being able to stack bleeds and burns.

Yeah, that's 75% of your ammo to kill one dude that regular spawns in packs of 6. It's not that great. I am not saying it's terrible, it can kill a Crusher in a pinch, and it's useful at killing Specials, and it can do meaningful damage to bosses (since you are probably taking both Boss damage passives anyway), but it's nowhere near as good as the Plasma Gun or even the Bolter. No offense. I wish it was better, genuinely, and if you're a good enough player, there's definitely plenty of room to take it. But let's not get crazy here and say it's better than the Plasma with it's functionally infinite ammo, zero down time, infinite cleave, infinite range, zero drop, generous hitscan, etc. That's why Fatshark is going to nerf it. Outside of the DS, it's the single most broken weapon in the game that isn't a Blitz.

I don't think I've actually seen anyone put the dog on ranged targets. I've personally still not tried it yet. It kind of runs counterintuitive to a large reason to bring the dog, which is having him shit out toughness for just existing and being near you. The code for it lets the dog wander like 40+ meters off when you pick that node.
If he can pounce and kill a gunner with just that +50% damage at an appreciable rate, then maybe it's something worth considering. I don't know.

Bolt pistol bleed and bigger explosions work on the dog electroshock. So just point the dog at a pack of elites, press G and watch them evaporate. Pretty hilarious.

But personally I like the lone wolf with regenerating shock mines and right side keystone to be very fun and nobody else seems to run it. You're just invincible and can faceroll insane amounts of elites.

Wounds are a crutch for bad players. If you go down often to skill issues, 1 wound is fine, but you should make it a habit not to go down.
At least 1 health if you run the true grit crutch. I'm somewhat tempted to run 2 or even 3 health because of how much regen the class has, but I'll hold off until I get another 21% health. Toughness is definitely very strong.
Some swear by stamina, but I've not noticed any stamina issues on the class. But I would replace the usual +5% toughness perk with block efficiency, if running a shield.

Probably revolver with crit on melee kill, and rending on crit, to dome and delete crushers. Otherwise, check out the electro staff, it locks down and deals with armor reasonably well, it only struggles with particularly dense hordes.

The damage buff is pretty nice when going melee I guess, but blessed armament is point taxed by it, which kinda hurts. It does, however, round up and thus pulls 2 bullets out of your reserve for bolter sniping, so it's quite comfy for that. Useless for mag dumping, good for popping heads. Wouldn't really recommend it with anything other than bolter, and even then, I think you're better off taking points elsewhere.

Damage from killing elites doesn't stack up fast or last long enough to be worth it, dog damage isn't good because they always take a second to attack each enemy and will therefore only get maybe two or three kills before the ult ends, and blessed armament would only be worth using if it didn't have a cooldown and you basically had a bottomless mag during the duration.

From what I've seen, Go Get 'Em! more or less automates the process of the dog pouncing into (shot)gunner clown cars, making it easier to dog boom them.
Unleashed Brutality prioritizes the enemy group that includes trappers, which are the biggest threat imaginable.

I've played around with both, and concluded that I'd rather spend my points elsewhere, but I also use break the line, flashbang shield, and primarily use secondary weapons that are very fast to swap to and also instagib trappers, so ymmv with shit like bolter builds.

They need to remove or rework the cooldown on ammo refill in castigator stance, it feels awful on shotguns

How's the Shield? For Arbite. It's got a nice moveset. But looks rather weak. That being said, the block node for Toughness with a Shield seems insanely powerful. So much so it makes me hesitant to pick up anything else. A single volley guarded is pretty much guaranteed to 100% Toughness you.

How's the non-shield variant? Arbites Maul. It's got a lot more damage and it's alternate looks actually useful. But again, the lacking shield with how powerful that Block Toughness Talent is seems like I'm missing out.

One just denotes that the enemy is "electrocuted" the other is a DOT.
If you special attack an enemy that already has the former electrocution status, you DOT it.

It's just a flat DOT, it's not applied in stacks like burn or bleed or soulblaze. It is actually seems very effective against carapace, unyielding too. I think it just lasts forever as well, like if you DOT a crusher it will eventually die without any further attacks needed, not super quickly though.
