Probably on the second page. It's always had a dedicated menu somewhere in the UI for this series, even when forms, attractions, and team attacks didn't. Can't imagine it's only thing on there, so maybe limits/team attacks are also in a menu again. Maybe "Magic" swaps to "Limit" and "Build" swaps to "Summon". "Item" swaps to "Attraction Flow"

What would you want in a Days remake?
I would want them to include Roxas having the ability to summon Samurai as a gameplay mechanic instead of just something that's used in like one cutscene. And I think a Days remake would be a good opportunity to repackage the new lore, especially the stuff from the phone games which a large portion of the fandom wouldn't even be aware of. Such as include info about Elrena's old life with Maleficent, a bigger splash of Ventus, Subject X, etc.

and by sustainable i mean the combination of it being a gps game plus a "big graphics" (for phones) game just didn't fly on most people's phones, and gachas need a baseline of 10 free to play players (which usually also have shitty phones, t. f2p player) to 1 paying whale (which would have the phone that could easily run the game). And even then the main issue was probably battery life, not much sense to have a game whose main point is going out and about that also slurps your whole battery in a hour or so, no matter how good it runs

Roxas now has open access to all worlds from the start. Missions are turned into objectives which can be cleared in any order and simultaneously during a single visit. They come in batches and the "main mission" objectives move the days forward.
Panels is done away with and the 50 recolor Keyblades are pared down to one per design. They have skill trees now which let you transform them into their various recolors and upgrades which now have more meaningful stat and ability differences.
In the spirit of panels, Roxas's gear is limited based on what he can actually wear (e.g. you can't equip three Cosmic Belts) and abilities have limited slots per type (e.g. movement abilities, support abilities, etc.).
Further keeping in spirit with the original game's "loadout" design, Roxas cannot change or upgrade his gear, abilities or Keyblades while out on a mission and can only do so at the Castle.

I wish they kept twilight town consistent through it's appearances. Grinds my gears that it looks fairly big in KH2 and looks like a teeny tiny village in kH3. Why did Reynatus fail? Was it because it got no marketing? was it because the world, characters and story weren't interesting? was it because the soundtrack wasn't captive? was it because it looked and played technology dated? Finally got a PC powerful enough to play all KH games on Steam + Melon Mix.
The only game I ever played was 3D when I was a kid. I loved that game but didn't understand jackshit. I really liked the flowmotion mechanic.
I'm already past Deep Jungle on KH1, and liking it a lot so far,
Looking forward to playing KH2 and 358/2 Days the most because I hear KH2 is peak, and the latter because I had a crush on Xion as a kid even though I only knew her for 30 seconds in 3D.
It does feel nice to be going mostly blind into this series.

Revisiting Chain of Memories, I don't enjoy the Sora campaign as much as I thought I would. This is probably when the Disney levels feel the most like filler. All the good stuff happens in-between floors and I feel like I'm just waiting for that.
I had more fun with the Riku/Replica story, even though his decks are random. It's just more to the point. I like how they even contextualize it as Riku being isolated from other characters, so his levels are shorter. Dark Riku was a fun power up and I think I will miss it...

Master Xehanort is threatening, but he feels invincible. Like there's nothing anyone can do to throw him off his plans, even defeats are accounted for. It feels like the heroes don't have any agency when every defeat Master Xehanort suffers he just shrugs off.
Ansem is the best of the three. Just divorced from his humanity to understand it and reject it, has a corruptive influence on the heroes and commands the iconic eldritch monsters of the franchise, and doesn't seek world domination or anything, he's just insane and wants to render everything unto annihilation. And he was in the process of doing it when the story starts, it's not like he was just getting around to it. KH1 is in the middle of the apocalypse.

I really like Ansemโs relationship with Riku, and how he slowly goes from being so dedicated to his plan that he waits 80 years on destiny islands for things to go, to just stop caring about his own destiny and let things happen as they do in 3. Master Xehanort has that xanatos gambit villainy i like, and i like all the history he has in the dark road, i just think he should have been more involved with the main cast in 3, sora met him only at the final battle, however i guess since ansem/xemnas/YX are just him at different stages of life he is just their conclusion.
Xemnas i find least interesting. He has no interesting relationships like ansem (riku) or MX (xigbar and eraqus), he is kind of the main villain of sora so that is cool, but his terra parts dont really appear outside that one chamber of repose scene, and i feel like he is the most disconnected of the norts.

In KH3 guarding provides a higher damage output thanks to the critical counter ability, and final blow offering extra damage off of counter attacks. My friend wanted to get into the series and I told him to just play KH1, read or watch what happens in COM, then play KH2. I feel like KH2 is a good stopping point for people and they can check out the rest if they are interested. I don't like the way the side games play at all so I always recommend just playing the main trilogy and watching the rest. They really need to find a good way to get people caught up for KH4. Like an anime series or something that retells the story.
